I've been busy lately, so I haven't been able to spend time with him... If you feel that way, why not go to a nostalgic onsen area that will warm your heart? We recommend Ikaho onsen in Gunma. It is a onsen resort full of atmosphere, with retro restaurants and souvenir shops lined up along the 365 stone steps. We walked around eating Yunohana manju in a yukata, and tried shooting targets. It's also a good idea to stop by Ikaho onsen Ishidan no Yu and Ikaho Open-air Bath.
Ikaho onsen is not only attractive for its town atmosphere, but also for onsen with rich medicinal properties. You can enjoy two types of hot springs: the brown "golden hot spring" and the colorless and transparent "silver hot spring." If you are traveling as a couple, we recommend staying at ryokan with a "room with an open-air bath." Enjoying time alone together is sure to bring you and your partner closer. In this article, we will introduce you to ryokan in Ikaho onsen where you can enjoy a "room with an open-air bath."
"Kokuya" is ryokan located about a one-minute walk from Ikaho's stone steps. It's conveniently located for sightseeing, so it's perfect for those who want to enjoy a leisurely stroll and eat their way around. There is also a service where women can choose a colored yukata for 1,100 yen (tax included). Put on a yukata and go for a walk around onsen town.
There are a total of 4 rooms with onsen open-air baths. ``Leaf Drops'', ``Tree Drops'', ``Flower Drops'', and ``Wild Drops'' hot springs are luxuriously sourced! You can enjoy the brown-colored ``Golden Hot Spring'' anytime and as much as you like. He who loves onsen is sure to be satisfied♪
Dinner is a multi-course meal with plenty of mountain delicacies from Gunma. You can enjoy seasonal wild vegetables, Joshu beef, Japanese pork, mochi pork, and other ingredients that we are proud of. There is also a private dining place, so if you want to have a meal with him in a private space, please check if you can make a reservation. You can relax in a private room with tatami mats, and the food will be even more delicious ♪

“ryokan Sakurai” is a casual ryokan located about a 15-minute walk from the stone steps. It's a little far from the bustling tourist spots, so you can spend your time calmly. There are 5 guest rooms with open-air baths. You can relax and forget about your daily life in a special room with an inner courtyard or a Japanese-style room with a different shape of bath. The photo is of the guest room "Yuki", which has a relaxing Japanese interior.
The open-air bath in the "Tsuki" guest room is a cute crescent shape. It's small, but you can feel the atmosphere with lanterns and a courtyard. The hot water is smooth "silver hot water". Enjoy the natural onsen as much as you like while relaxing on the chairs on the deck.
There is no washing space in the guest room open-air bath, so when washing hair and body, use the large public bath. The observation bath on the top floor also uses Shirogane no Yu. You can see the majestic Akagi and Haruna mountains, and the view is outstanding! You can relax and refresh yourself.
For dinner, you can choose from three plans. We recommend the "Standard Menu Plan" where you can compare the taste of Gunma brand meat. Shangshu beef, Shangshu glutinous pork, and Akagi chicken are served on a hot porcelain grill. There are also local dishes of Gunma such as Mizusawa udon and sashimi konjac, and it is full of volume! Even the gluttonous one will be satisfied!
