"MUNI KYOTO" overlooking Togetsukyo Bridge. A beautiful space, gourmet food, and a view right in front of your eyes... this is a hotel where you can have a special experience that can only be found here. When you enter the lobby, you will be greeted by the gentle sound of water and the "white garden" that was created to look like a single painting.
I was grateful that check-in was completed in the room. The welcome sweets were also luxurious and very delicious.

Many of them have a terrace, and all rooms are spacious with 48㎡ or more. Enjoy the view of the garden from the 1st floor "Standard" and the superb view of Arashiyama from the 2nd floor "Superior".
Stayed at "River View Premier Twin". The ceiling is high and there is a sense of openness, and I liked it more than any luxury hotel. The Togetsukyo Bridge outside the large window was a nice view that made me feel elegant.

The restaurant "MUNI LA TERRASSE" overlooking the Togetsukyo Bridge. From 17:00 to 19:00, it will be a lounge exclusively for guests, and you can enjoy drinks for free. Take a breather with the beautiful scenery.
On the second day, we were told that "Muni La Terrace" could not be used due to the facilities, so we had drinks and snacks delivered to our room.

Dinner will be served at the hotel's restaurant, "MUNI ALAIN DUCASSE." You can enjoy the finest French cuisine using carefully selected ingredients from Kyoto and other parts of Japan. Reservations in advance are recommended.
It was a short course, but I was satisfied ◎. I was able to hear about the commitment to the tableware and paintings, and the serving performance was fun and unrealistic. I was happy to have different bread for each dish.

Breakfast at "Muni La Terrace" where you can choose egg dishes and salads. All of them have a high-quality taste, and you can breathe a sigh of happiness in the morning. The honey on the bread, the ancient rice confiture, and the chocolate paste made in the workshop in Paris are also exciting.
All the dishes were delicious, but the poached eggs were especially delicious. The bread is so delicious that I want to stay just to eat this breakfast.

Enjoy the nature of Kyoto!
"Hozu River Boat Ride" where you can feel the great nature of Kyoto. From Kameoka to Saga, you will travel about 16km by boat with the guide of the boatman. The nature of the four seasons, the scenery of rocks and waterfalls, and the thrill of going down the river will make even adults feel like children again.
It was quite thrilling and I got wetter than I expected, but it was okay because I covered it with plastic and brought a bag for luggage. You can even take a photo with the boatman while wearing a haori coat, which is very satisfying!

Enjoy Kyoto cuisine slowly
Dinner on the second day is out of the hotel. At "Arashiyama Sakura", enjoy Kyoto cuisine using special dashi stock. The “Mille-feuille”, which is layered seafood and seasonal vegetables with Tosa vinegar jelly, and the homemade “Fruit Dorayaki” for dessert are also popular.
The seasonal Japanese food made me feel glad that I came to Kyoto. Since I was full, I had the sea urchin rice turned into a rice ball and brought it home with the fruit dorayaki.

Breakfast on the second day with different appetizers. There are three types of egg dishes: poached eggs with crown salmon, fried eggs with fragrant bacon, and brioche French toast. Is the menu the same or different from the day before? I'm looking forward to the morning.

Arashiyama was unfortunately raining, but thanks to that, there was little congestion and I enjoyed shopping leisurely. The warabi mochi from Oimatsu Arashiyama is very delicious and has a flavor that I still remember.
About a 3-minute walk from Keifuku Arashiyama Station, Japanese sweets shop "Oimatsu" was founded in 1908. At the back of the store, "Sabo Gen'ian", you can enjoy matcha green tea and fresh sweets. Freshly made “Hon-warabi mochi” made with rare domestic bracken flour is popular
