Experience
Enjoy Kinsen and Ginsen♪
Two days spent at Arima onsen
We will introduce the course when a woman who visited Arima onsen on a couple's trip actually stayed at "Choraku".
First day
Start12:00
About 3 minutes by car to the inn
Arrive at Arima onsen
Lunch time in the onsen town
Drive first to Arima onsen where the inn is located. Once you arrive in Arima onsen, onsen enjoy a stroll and lunch in the town. We are excited to find Kobe beef, foods from Mt. Rokko, and other Hyogo related delicacies.
Check-in14:00
Arrive at the inn
View the scenery of the four seasons
check-in
After lunch, head back to your hotel. The inn is located a short walk up a steep slope from Arima onsen town. When you arrive, you will be greeted by a bright lobby where you can see the scenery of the four seasons from the windows. Check in while enjoying the seasonal feeling.
The staff kindly guided us from the parking lot. I was able to check in smoothly with my luggage.
Room14:30
Relaxing Japanese-style and Western-style rooms
There is also a type with an open-air bath.
There are a total of 40 guest rooms. Most of the rooms are Japanese-style, but there are also Japanese-Western and Western-style rooms. The hotel is surrounded by lush nature, and some rooms offer views of Mt. Rokko, onsen town, and the Japanese garden. If you value privacy, we recommend a room with an open onsen bath.
I stayed in a room called "kurama". It was a very spacious room. meal could be enjoyed in a Japanese-style room or at a table.
Onsen15:00
Indulge in a tour of hot springs
Enjoy Kinsen and Ginsen
Inside the hotel, you can enjoy both Kinsen and Ginsen, both of which are sourced in-house. There are a wide variety of baths, including a large public bath, a private open-air bath, and the Kunugi no Yu, which is surrounded by a sawtooth oak forest. Why don't you try conquering various things such as jacuzzi, standing bath, and dry sauna.
After having tea and Japanese sweets prepared in the room, I entered onsen. At the after-bath spot "Yamabuki", you can relax with homemade sweets and tea♪
Dinner18:00
Kaiseki cuisine of local production for local consumption
Enjoy the taste of the season♪
Dinner can be served at the meal "Kaen" or in your room. The menu varies depending on the plan, from basic kaiseki cuisine to 2-course Japanese black beef kaiseki and Kobe beef steak kaiseki. Enjoy plenty of seasonal ingredients from Hyogo.
We enjoyed dinner in our room. Each Japanese dish was carefully prepared, and I was full from fish to meat. It was very delicious ^ ^
Onsen21:00
Private space at night
Enjoy onsen together
At night, go to the private open-air bath. There are both Kinsen and Ginsen onsen here. A lush green forest spreads beyond the bathtub, and you can enjoy a private bathing experience while gazing at the great outdoors.
After dinner, I went to a private open-air bath. I enjoyed both Kinsen and Ginsen! Water was also prepared on the table, and it was a feeling that I was exhausted ♪
the 2nd day
Breakfast08:00
warms my body in the morning
Gentle Japanese set meal
Breakfast is a Japanese set meal with freshly baked dried fish and egg dishes. When you eat it in your room, it's nice that the small bowl is served in a steamer so that it doesn't get cold. If you ask in advance, you can change to Western food.
We had Japanese food for breakfast. There were many side dishes, and the miso soup cooked in a pot was very delicious!
Check-out11:00
leave the inn
Enjoy the facility to the fullest
check out
Until check-out, you can enjoy the view from your room or soak in the open-air bath. You can also go to the coffee corner "Kinudo" to have coffee or juice. The shop also has soaps and lotions made with onsen water. Don't forget to check them out.
Before checking out, I went to the souvenir shop. There is a discount service for guests, so I was happy to be able to buy souvenirs cheaper than others.
Sightseeing12:00
About 9 minutes on foot from the inn
5 seconds expiration date
Pakuri carbonated rice crackers
After checking out, take a walk around onsen town. If you want to eat Arima onsen 's famous carbonated rice crackers, head to Yunokado Honpo. Freshly baked senbei made by a craftsman has a shelf life of only 5 seconds. Try the texture that can only be tasted locally.
After leaving the inn, I took a walk in the onsen town. I ate onsen steamed buns and carbonated rice crackers on the way! The freshly made carbonated crackers were soft and delicious ◎
Return trip14:00
at ryokan on a hill
Two days to warm your body and soul
Spend two relaxing days at ryokan overlooking the onsen town. You can take a bath in a variety of onsen such as Kinsen and Ginsen, or enjoy seasonal kaiseki cuisine in your room. Why don't you go and be healed with someone important to you?
