Experience
Enjoy spacious onsen and in-in-room dining
Relaxing 2 days and 1 night with children
Saki, who traveled to Kinosaki with her family, will introduce her experience when she actually stayed at "Kinosaki onsen Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei".
First day
Start13:00
About 15 minutes on foot from the onsen town to the inn
I want to walk in a yukata
To Kinosaki onsen full of emotion
Kinosaki onsen is a charming onsen town. Leave your car at the inn and go for a leisurely walk. There are seven hot springs, seafood gourmet food, eating tours, and many other things to see and do.
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
Surrounded by the silence of the forest
Check in to hotel
Pass through the bustling onsen town and arrive at Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei. When you step into the entrance surrounded by forest, an open lobby lounge welcomes you. Relax and check in while listening to the sound of the waterfall flowing through the garden.
Atmosphere that lobby was very large, and was settled down. Relaxing with a welcome drink while looking at the lovely garden with waterfall and river.
Room15:30
in a quiet room
relaxing moments
The guest rooms are divided into the "Garden Building" facing the 50,000 tsubo garden and the "Tsuki Building" along the Otani River. Spend a relaxing time in a space surrounded by nature. There are 6 types to choose from, including Japanese-style rooms, Japanese-Western style rooms, and rooms with open-air baths.
Stayed in a Japanese-style room in Tsuki-no-mune. There were flower and rabbit figurines in the alcove. Our room was a rabbit that drew a bow, but it seems that each room is different, so I wanted to see others.
Spa16:00
at aroma esthetic
Detox your mind and body
Esthetics are recommended if you want to thoroughly heal your daily fatigue. Detox your mind and body with aroma treatment at the Balinese relaxation salon “Fuka”. You can choose your favorite aroma from 7 types.
After a short walk outside, my husband and children went to the large public bath, and I went to the inn for an aroma massage.
Dinner18:00
Relax in your room
Enjoy Kinosaki's seasonal vegetables
If you have small children with you, we recommend the Japanese banquet cuisine, which can be enjoyed in a private room or in in-room dining. You can enjoy seasonal delicacies typical of Kinosaki, Hyogo, such as Tajima beef and Matsuba crab. Relax and enjoy with local Tajima sake and local beer.
Since it was a wedding anniversary trip, we had a celebratory kaiseki meal in the room. I was very satisfied with the color and taste, and the sake has progressed ♪
Onsen20:00
in the onsen bath
best healing time
The public bath has an open-air bath and a jacuzzi bath. After soaking in onsen and warming up, recharge your skin with moisture in the mist sauna. You can spend a relaxing time surrounded by aroma. The luxurious private open-air bath with bedrock bath is also recommended.
The mist sauna is a stylish space based on white, and the open-air bath is tasteful. There was also body soap, a trash can for diapers, and a crib for babies.
the 2nd day
Morning07:00
breathe in the forest air
wake up refreshed
After waking up a little early, let's take a walk through the inn's proud forest garden. Along the promenade, there are garden pools, chapels, waterfalls, and more. Breathe in the fresh morning air and listen to the chirping of birds. Let's start the day refreshingly.
Before breakfast, I went to the public bath. In the open-air bath, the surrounding greenery was sparkling and the refreshing scent of the leaves was very good, and I felt a different charm from the night.
Breakfast08:00
at the breakfast buffet
fill your stomach and heart
Breakfast is a buffet with more than 30 kinds of Japanese and Western dishes. Freshly baked dried flounder, sandfish, thick omelet, miso soup, and other comforting dishes that will gently fill your body in the morning.
When I visited, it was a Japanese set meal. The table was filled with dishes such as ohitsu rice, grilled fish, boiled tofu, tamagoyaki, boiled soy sauce, and salad.
Check-out10:00
leave the inn
buy a souvenir
check out
Before checking out, go to the in-house shop "Sanpou". There are products unique to Tajima, such as special products and traditional crafts of the Tajima region. It's also perfect for choosing your own souvenirs.
After checking out, when I told him that I wanted to take a walk in onsen town, he kindly asked me to leave his car and send him to the station by courtesy car.
Sightseeing11:00
About 10 minutes on foot from the inn to Sanroku Station
by ropeway
exhilarating air travel
The Kinosaki onsen Ropeway connects the onsen town of Kinosaki and the summit of Mount Daishi. From the top of the mountain, you can see the streets of Kinosaki and the Sea of Japan. There is also a cafe with a superb view where you can enjoy Japanese sweets and home-roasted coffee.
We strolled through the Kinosaki onsen town and saw a spectacular view from the entire city to the sea on the "Kinosaki onsen Ropeway".
Return trip15:00
Comfortable even with children
Two days full of onsen trips
If you want to spend time with your family in a quiet environment, head to Kinosaki Onsen onsen Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei. The whole family will be satisfied with the vast garden, spacious onsen, and clean and calm guest rooms. A comfortable onsen trip will come true.
There are towels and amenities for children, and anything other than the bare minimum can be stored in drawers and shelves. It was a trip with a 1-year-old child who wanted to touch everything, but it was very comfortable ♪

Stayed October 2021
I went by car from Osaka. Since I was traveling with my one-year-old child, I was able to bring my favorite stuffed animals and sweets and sing songs, and it felt like an excursion.
