Experience
A relaxing and luxurious trip with my parents.
2 days and 1 night to relax on Awaji Island
We will introduce the course when a woman who enjoyed a trip to Awaji Island with her parents actually stayed at the "Villa Rakuen" building of "Hotel New Awaji".
First day
Start12:00
About 120 minutes by car from Osaka Station to the inn
Leisurely with parent and child
To Sumoto onsen on Awaji Island
It takes about 120 minutes by car or highway bus from Osaka Station to Sumoto onsen on Awaji Island where the hotel is located. Enjoy the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea and head for it leisurely. At Sumoto onsen which spreads out to the southeast of the island, you can overlook the magnificent Kitan Strait and feel a sense of openness.
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
in a classy lounge
Take a break in front of the sea
The lobby lounge has an elegant atmosphere. The ocean outside the window is a great way to relax. The hotel has two guest room buildings. Check-in is usually at 3pm, but guests staying in the "Villa Paradise" building can check-in from 2pm. You can spend plenty of time in elegance.
Check in around 14:00. After relaxing on the sofa, I was served tea and sweets in my room.
Room15:30
Also includes an open-air bath!
Feeling luxurious in your room
There are two types of guest rooms: the Japanese-style "Yume Daichi" and the "Villa Rakuen" suites, all of which have their own open-air baths. The "Sora no Niwa" in "Villa Rakuen" is a luxurious space with an open-air bath and a terrace for after-bathing. Located on the upper floors facing the sea, it offers a spectacular view.
Stayed at "Villa Rakuen Sea Garden No. 105". There were few steps, so I was able to spend time with my parents with peace of mind. There are flowers in the garden facing the sea. I was able to monopolize the superb view on the bench.
Onsen16:00
In the guest room open-air bath
relax to your heart's content
Once you've unpacked your bags, you can head straight for a hot onsen bath. If you choose a room with an open-air bath, you can enjoy your bath time at your leisure. The water in the rooms with open-air baths is Sumoto onsen (simple alkaline hot onsen). You can also enjoy the murky onsen of Furumoe Onsen, which wells up on the premises, in the large public bath.
Spend a luxurious time looking at the sea and the sunset from the rock open-air bath in your room. There was a large sofa next to the bath, which was perfect for relaxing after bathing.
Lounge17:00
at the sky lounge
enjoy a drink and a book
If you stay at Villa Rakuen, you can use the sky lounge "Tenjo no Sajiki." You can enjoy free drinks and massage chairs while taking in the spectacular view from the top floor.
The sky lounge was empty, probably because the number of available rooms is limited. I enjoyed reading and massage chairs while having tea and sweets.
Dinner18:00
In a variety of restaurants
Your favorite dinner
The hotel has a variety of restaurants, including the open kitchen restaurant "Bar Awaji", the French restaurant "Seaside" overlooking the sea, and the semi-private dining room "Shokunobo Shinsui". At "Bar Awaji", you can casually enjoy dishes made with ingredients from Awaji Island.
Night20:30
In your room or in the building
Completely relaxing♡
After dinner, you can relax in the large public bath or in your room, or just enjoy onsen. There is also a treatment spa called "Komoe" on the premises. You can refresh yourself with special treatments and an orchid flower bath that is also available for couples.
We went to the large public bath. There were various baths, such as an open-air bath by the sea and a jacuzzi, and it was like an attraction and very fun. Toners and other amenities were also provided.
the 2nd day
Check-out11:00
leave the inn
until check-out time
relax at will
The hotel has a lounge where you can enjoy sweets handmade by a pastry chef, a summer-only pool, a kids' corner, and more. There are a variety of facilities to enjoy in a wide range of situations. Why not enjoy a stroll around the hotel until check-out time?
The check-out time was 11:00 as a privilege of staying in the "Villa Paradise" building. Relaxed with late check out.
Sightseeing12:15
About 90 minutes by car from the inn
In "Nankinmachi" in Kobe
buy chinese gourmet
On the way back, use the hotel's "special contract taxi" to go to Kobe City's lively Chinatown "Nankinmachi". How about buying some of Chinatown's gourmet souvenirs, such as Roushoki's specialty pork buns?
Return trip13:00
indulge in luxury
feeling fulfilled
A two-day, one-night trip to Awaji Island spent in the "Villa Rakuen" building of "Hotel New Awaji." You can enjoy onsen, superb views, and feasts in your room, so you and your parents should be able to relax from the bottom of your heart.

Stayed November 2021
Since I was traveling with my elderly parents and was worried about using public transportation, I used a "special contract taxi" operated by the hotel from Osaka Station. It was a good deal for the fixed price.
