Yumekaiyu Awajishima is a modern onsen resort overlooking the Ohama coast of Awajishima. Starting with the Mori no SPA, which was renewed in 2020, the extensive onsen facilities are attractive. After enjoying a tour of the hot springs in the hotel, enjoy a kaiseki meal full of ingredients from Awaji Island. First, go sightseeing with a rental car. After enjoying the spectacular view at Onaruto Bridge, which connects Awaji Island and Tokushima, have lunch at the restaurant inside Roadside Station Uzushio. We also recommend taking commemorative photos and shopping at the Uzunooka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum.

Enjoy fresh fish at Uzushio Restaurant! Wearing an onion-colored wig and taking a commemorative photo (laughs). It was so much fun that I can remember and laugh!

There are 101 rooms in total, and there are two types: the regular floor and the relaxing floor. All rooms on the "Nagomi Floor" face the sea, so you can relax while looking out at the sea and the pine grove. Some of the rooms have a cypress bath with a view, so you can enjoy an elegant bath time.

There are plenty of spa facilities in the hotel, such as "Mori no SPA" where you can enjoy Sumoto onsen as if you were in the forest, "Kaion no Mori" where you can enjoy the pleasant sea breeze, "Yumeumi" which is a private open-air bath, and an Ayurvedic beauty salon. You can spend plenty of healing time.

There are two large public baths, so you can enjoy onsen in the evening and in the morning. There are also massage chairs and drinks, and the fatigue of the day was healed.

Enjoy the gastronomy of Awaji Island

We use plenty of ingredients from Awaji Island, such as red sea bream, onions, and Japanese black beef. You can enjoy various styles such as Japanese course, buffet, and creative cuisine. Enjoy it slowly in the dining room with an open kitchen or in a private room.

There are various facilities in the hotel, such as the "Stella Terrace" where you can enjoy the night view of Osaka, a karaoke and game corner, and a souvenir shop with snacks and local sake. After dinner, why not take a leisurely stroll around the building?

There was a small game center in the building, and I played air hockey with him. It felt like the best part of onsen trip, and it was a blast!

Breakfast is served at the open kitchen "Shikisai Dining Hamabusa". There are a wide variety of dishes made with local ingredients, including dashi rolls made with eggs from Awaji Island. Chopsticks will be used from the morning.

When we stayed, a luxurious set menu was provided as a measure against corona. Small plates, rice, desserts, etc. were buffet style, and I was very satisfied with the variety.
