Mie is known for its mysterious power spots, including the world heritage site Kumano Kodo and Ise Jingu. Furthermore, there are many sightseeing spots that parents and children can enjoy together, such as Toba Aquarium, which has the largest number of aquariums in Japan, theme parks such as Shima Spain Village, and Iga, which is also known as the village of ninjas. It is also full of local gourmet foods such as spiny lobster and Matsusaka beef.
When traveling with children, the amount of luggage increases rapidly, and there are many things to worry about, such as meal, baths, and sleeping. This time, we have selected hotels in Mie that have rooms with open-air baths, as well as hotels that have plenty of facilities and services for children. "Hotel Shima Spain Mura" is one of the official hotels of "Shima Spain Village". The park and the hotel are directly connected by a connecting gate, so you can return to the hotel for meal or a nap while you're playing. A free shuttle bus runs between the park and the hotel, and departs in front of the hotel entrance. Easy to go back and forth.
If you're staying at an official hotel, we recommend a room where you can spend time with the characters of "Shima Spain Village." There is also a "Treehouse for Everyone" room, themed on the secret base built by Don Quixote and his friends. The walls are decorated with paint marks and closets, which will excite children. There are also special perks unique to the character rooms, such as commemorative photos and gift merchandise.
The hotel's on-site restaurant serves a variety of cuisines, including Spanish, Japanese, French, and buffets. This is a special kids course exclusively for character room guests. A special adult course meal is also prepared for papa and mama. Recharge your tired body with dishes made with local ingredients from Ise-Shima!

Owase Seaside View is a small single-family inn with only 10 rooms, located in Kata Bay, Owase City. Surrounded by the sea and mountains, it is famous for being able to taste the rare luxury fish "natural longtooth grouper" in an environment rich in nature. This large public bath is only 10 cm from the sea. There is also a children's room in the hotel, so you can spend a relaxing time with your family.
All guest rooms are Japanese-style rooms, so it's safe for sleeping and crawling babies. After putting down my luggage, I stretched out on the tatami mat and took a deep breath. The scent of the sea is pleasant and you can spend a relaxing time here.
For dinner, we recommend the "Natural Kue Full Course" where you can enjoy grouper hot pot, thinly sliced grouper grouper, and boiled grouper grouper. Also popular is the [Seasonal Natural Seafood Kaiseki Meal], which uses wild fish from Owase and local vegetables. This "small kaiseki" is for elementary school students. Appetizers, sashimi, simmered dishes, etc. are cutely arranged like a bento. There is also a lunch menu for infants where you can eat hamburgers and fried chicken, so please make a reservation according to the age of your child.
Another fun at the inn is fishing. There is a pier for the exclusive use of hotel guests right in front of the hotel, so everyone can enjoy fishing, from children trying to fish for the first time to dads who enjoy fishing. Fishing rods, buckets, and life jackets are free, and bait is charged. The fish you catch will be cooked at the inn and served for dinner. The family fishing experience will surely be a wonderful memory.

Kumano no Yado Umihikari is located on a hill overlooking the Kumano Sea. This inn is also a popular base for walking around the world heritage site, Kumano Kodo. You can enjoy the magnificent Kumano Sea from the large communal bath where you can enjoy hot water from Kumano onsen that gushes out from within the grounds, and enjoy a moment where you can wash away all the fatigue from childcare and travel. The entire building is non-smoking except for the smoking rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors, so it's safe for babies.
There are 15 tatami family rooms, 6 tatami, 8 tatami, and 10 tatami Japanese rooms, so you can choose according to the size of your family. There are also ``Triple Rooms'' and ``Special Rooms'' with a blend of Japanese and Western styles, which are rooms where you can spend a relaxing time. All guests are equipped with room temperature water, toilets with flush toilet seats, and air purifiers. There's also an electric kettle, insect repellent, and DVD player, so it's a good idea to bring your favorite anime. You can also rent Othello and playing cards for free.
Dinner is a Kaiseki meal featuring fresh seafood delivered directly from the Kumano Sea. For children, we also have ``Children's Kaiseki''. The next morning after a good night's sleep, you'll be ready for some healthy Japanese food. The all-you-can-eat Kumano dried fish, local pickles, and egg-cooked rice are exquisite! Both adults and children should eat plenty of it and use it as energy for the day.
There is a kids room on the first floor of the hotel so that you can enjoy rainy days and free time. Go from the slide to the ball pool! There is also a manga room on the first floor, with over 3,000 manga and over 300 DVDs. There is also a karaoke room (reservation required), which is free for one hour. I also enjoy karaoke competitions with my family.

``Resort Kumano Club'' is nestled in nature, surrounded by mountains, sea, and countryside, connecting Ise Grand Shrine and the world heritage site ``Kumano Kodo''. The vast grounds include a reception desk, shop, workshop, and hot springs, and all 40 guest rooms are all suites. Because it is all-inclusive, you can enjoy a luxurious time without worrying about your wallet, such as afternoon tea and free drinks at dinner.
At ``The Club Lounge Yasuragi-no-Za'', we will be holding a stargazing event with commentary from a starry sky guide. You can spend a relaxing adult time enjoying your favorite alcohol while looking at the starry night sky. Be impressed by the star-filled sky, which is hard to see in the city!
The rooms are made of Kumano cedar, and the scent and texture of nature will soothe you when you spend time in your room. This is Shingetsu-an, a detached suite with an open-air bath. This type of room has an indoor bath as well as a semi-open-air bath on the balcony. The low bed creates a sense of unity between the bedroom and living room, and you can rest assured that you can keep an eye on your child no matter where they are.
Dinner consists of three courses: ``Kaiseki full of the flavors of Kumano,'' ``Miketsukuni Kaiseki,'' and ``Half buffet with oven-roasted spiny lobster.'' All of them feature luxurious dishes that allow you to fully enjoy the blessings of Kumano. For families with children, we recommend the half buffet where you can enjoy as many dishes as you want. The next morning, wake up refreshed with dried fish, a nutritious salad, and 100% Kumano mandarin juice.
``Tengou Yudokoro Yuyoku Mibokko'' located on the premises uses onsen water from Shinyu no Kuchi Onsen. The open-air bath boasts an open feeling of looking up at the sky and a spacious bathtub. Both the indoor and outdoor baths have tatami floors throughout, making them safe for small children. After your bath, try the local Ouchiyama milk.
