Experience
Enjoy a visit to Ise and gourmet food
2 days and 1 night stay with children
A woman who enjoyed traveling with her 1-year-old child as a family of three actually stayed at "Inishie no Yado Ikyu".
First day
Start12:00
The inn is about 8 minutes by car from Isuzugawa Station
Let's go to "Ise Jingu"
A heart-pounding family trip
Depart for "Ise Jingu", a power spot that represents Japan. The inn is about a 15-minute walk from Ise Jingu Naiku. From Nagoya Station, it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes by car or public transportation. There is also a free shuttle bus from the nearest station, Isuzugawa Station.
Sightseeing13:00
About 7 minutes by car from the inn
To the solemn and quiet Outer Shrine
Worship with a refreshing feeling
At Ise Jingu, it has long been customary to visit the Outer Shrine first, followed by the Inner Shrine. First, let's visit the Outer Shrine. Geku is about 7 minutes by car from the inn. After visiting Toyouke Omikami, the guardian deity of food, clothing and shelter, and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere, head to your inn.
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
Say hello to the gracefully swimming carp
check-in
Arrived at the inn at the base of Ise Jingu. There is a pond in front of the main entrance, and you will be greeted by Nishikigoi swimming leisurely. At the welcoming place, there are also impressive items such as the traditional craft lacquerware "Ise Shunkei" and "Miyama cedar" protected within the sacred precincts of Ise Jingu.
In the lounge, drinks are free from 15:00 to 23:00. All-you-can-drink of various kinds of drinks such as tea, juice, coffee, and black tea. It was a great service.
Room15:15
All rooms with open-air bath
Guest rooms where you can enjoy forest bathing
There are 58 guest rooms in total, with 8 types. All rooms have an open-air bath and a relaxing space with tatami flooring and Japanese-style beds. Some rooms have blinds around the bed, which adds to the atmosphere. Relax while looking out the window at the greenery that leads to the Inner Shrine.
Stayed in "Japanese Deluxe Double". The bed was placed directly on the tatami mats, so I didn't have to worry about it falling off. Samue is prepared in the room, but you can choose a colored yukata for free.
Sightseeing15:30
About 15 minutes on foot from the inn
Next time visit the Naiku
Stroll around Okage Yokocho
After taking a break, visit the Naiku. The inn has a dedicated entrance for going to Ise Jingu Naiku on foot. After visiting the shrine, go to Okage Yokocho, a popular shopping street, and enjoy Ise's famous Japanese sweets, Akafuku, and soft, thick Ise udon noodles.
I went to visit Ise Jingu. To get to the Naiku from the inn, take a secret exit next to the inn and it will take about 15 minutes. We recommend this inn for those who are going to Ise Jingu.
Dinner17:30
Taste at "Shozan"
Delicious dinner in Ise
For dinner, you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with Ise ingredients at the on-site restaurant Shozan. You can enjoy ingredients from the mountains and seas, such as spiny lobster and Matsusaka beef, on a seasonal menu. There are counter seats for small groups and private room-style group seats for families.
For the main, you can choose Matsuzaka beef and spiny lobster grilled on a ceramic plate or steamed. My husband and I chose another one to share. My 1-year-old son got white rice and furikae for free ◎
Onsen20:00
Private bath for family enjoyment
Private onsen time
There are 4 free private baths and a large public bath in the hotel. Why don't you spend the first night privately with your family? onsen is alkaline simple hot spring "Nimisato onsen". Three private baths are natural onsen, and one is a silky bath. Available 24 hours ◎
Reservations are not required for the private baths, and you can use them as many times as you like during your stay if they are available. My son was licking free ice cream after taking a bath and said many times that it was delicious lol
Night21:00
Enjoy "Yonaki Soba"
Getting ready for bed in the night breeze
At the pick-up place "Kasakura", "Yonaki soba" is prepared as a midnight snack for those who have an early dinner, and "Tenmusu" is prepared as an evening snack for those who have a late dinner. Yonaki soba before going to bed has a special taste. After dinner, stop by the moon viewing platform in the hall and feel the night breeze.
I was full, but I was able to eat the night snack "Yonaki Soba". It is popular, so it is recommended to go early. I was able to take it back to my room.
the 2nd day
Morning06:00
About 15 minutes on foot from the inn
in the light of the morning sun
To the solemn "early morning visit"
Get up early and go to Ise Jingu for an early morning visit. At the welcoming place "Kanao", "Katapan" and coffee are served for those who visit early in the morning. There are books about Ise and Ise Jingu in the "Inishie Dokoro" in the lobby, which is convenient when you want to study before visiting the shrine!
Early in the morning, my husband went to visit Ise Jingu Shrine. Katapan is free, so when you are hungry until breakfast ◎
Relax07:00
In the guest room open-air bath
enjoy the morning bath
All rooms have an open-air bath, so be sure to enjoy the bath in your room. You can take a leisurely bath in the guest room bath even with small children. Feel the breeze and see the green of the forest, stimulating all five senses. One of the attractions is being able to enjoy forest bathing and bathing at the same time.
Take a leisurely morning bath in the room bath that you have never taken before. The open-air bath in the guest room where I stayed was not onsen, but it felt good to take a bath while worshiping the forest.
Breakfast07:30
Plenty of the blessings of Ise
Japanese and Western breakfast at Shozan
For breakfast, you can choose between a Japanese or Western set meal at the on-site restaurant, Shozan. Japanese food such as tea porridge, grilled fish, and onsen eggs, and Western food such as bread, sausages, egg dishes, and soups all look delicious, so I'm at a loss as to what to choose. Free refills of natto, onsen eggs, and seaweed.
After dinner the day before, I was asked if I wanted Japanese or Western food, so I chose Japanese. Breakfast is hearty! The soy milk soup in the morning was delicious and my son was satisfied.
Onsen08:45
in an open public bath
stretch out and take a bath
After taking a short break, go to the large public bath where the morning light is dazzling. The large public bath is divided into a cypress bath and a rock bath, and the men's and women's baths alternate in the morning and evening. There is also a dry sauna, a water bath, and an indoor bath. After the bath, quench your thirst with complimentary milk, coffee milk, and lactic acid drinks.
I took a bath in the morning and had lactic acid drinks and milk. The popsicles served at night will be replaced with milk or coffee milk in the morning. A cup of waking up is delicious ♪
Check-out10:00
leave the inn
Choosing Ise Souvenirs
check out
After getting dressed, look for souvenirs at Omoide Yokocho on the 1st floor. It's open 24 hours a day, so you can drop by whenever you feel like it ◎ After choosing souvenirs unique to the Iseji Route with the whole family, let's check out while reminiscing about the memories.
Return trip15:00
Beside Ise Jingu
spend time calming down
Two days spent with a small child at "Inishie no Yado Iku". Enjoy the different tastes of open-air baths and private baths, and savor the blessings of Ise such as Matsuzaka beef and spiny lobster. Why don't you go on a trip to Ise with your child, where the smiles of your family will be overflowing?
It's close to Ise Jingu, there are many things to do for free, the rooms have open-air baths, and the corridors are tatami-matted, making it safe for children. This inn was great to say the least.
