I'm an editor and mother of a 6-year-old. I travel all over the country with my active daughter.
The "Kawaguchiko Area" includes Fujiyoshida City and Kawaguchiko Town. There are plenty of fun spots for the whole family, such as the popular amusement park "Fuji-Q Highland" and "Arakurayama Sengen Park," known as a famous cherry blossom viewing spot. For meal, we recommend the local dish "Houtou," with its irresistible chewy flat noodles. Try it with the whole family.
This is a hotel with a spectacular view where you can enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji from every room. There is a large onsen bath inside the building, where you can relax and soothe your travel fatigue. The "Mamaraku♪Kids Room" (pictured) is a guest room with interior and amenities for infants and toddlers, making it recommended for those traveling with children. It is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle, so you can quickly prepare baby food and milk. There are also convenient items such as baby wipes and baby food tableware. Dinner at the attached restaurant is authentic kaiseki cuisine. There is also a "children's special lunch" that combines Japanese and Western cuisine, and a "children's plate" that includes an assortment of omelets and pilaf, so the whole family can enjoy meal together.

We stayed here for one night in October with our 0 and 2 year old children.
I used it on the way back from Thomas Land, and it was about a 15-minute drive from Fuji-Q Highland.
It was a very nice inn, and the room I stayed in was a very spacious Japanese-style room measuring 6 tatami mats + 12 tatami mats.
As soon as you enter, the spectacular view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji from the large windows is beautiful and truly moving.
The starry sky seen from the futon was also beautiful.
