The "Bandaiko source" has a gushing temperature of about 95 degrees, and is said to be the source closest to magma even within Kusatsu onsen. "Itoya" is a onsen ryokan founded in 1898 in Yugawara Onsen onsen Two of the three ryokan in the main building are registered as national tangible cultural properties, and the novelist Shimazaki Toson developed the original idea for his masterpiece "Yoake Mae". It is also famous as an inn related to the February 26 Incident. Located almost in the center of Yugawara onsen, it is a convenient location for sightseeing.
There is also a large public bath, but we recommend a chartered bath with a nice atmosphere. The "reserved open-air bath" with the beautiful green of Yugawara is a bath where the change of the four seasons is beautiful.
