Room15:45
Ocean view ◎
lose track of time on the terrace
We recommend a room with a luxurious open-air bath with a terrace. Guest rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but the rooms on the 3rd floor offer a more open view of the Minamiboso sea. Free drinks in the refrigerator are also nice ♡
Stay in a Western-style room with an open-air bath. The ocean view from the room was wonderful!
Relax16:00
Sea and sky, healing of onsen
The sound of the waves is a wonderful BGM
The spacious private open-air bath for two is a luxurious space where you can soak while feeling the ocean. Be soothed by Awa onsen. There is also a blindfold door, so you can secure your privacy.
I was healed by being able to take an open-air bath while slowly listening to the sound of the waves.
Freetime17:00
at the seaside terrace
A moment to admire the sunset
As the hotel name "Yumi" indicates, the "Seaside Terrace" is suitable for watching the sunset. The unobstructed beautiful view will make you lose track of time.
After relaxing in the room, we watched the sunset on the seaside terrace. It was so beautiful that I still can't forget the scene.
Dinner18:00
private dining is good
Satisfy your appetite with fresh and luxurious seafood
Dinner is served in a semi-private or private room at the dining area "UMI". Fresh seafood caught in the nearby seas will bring smiles to your face. The anniversary plan includes cake and champagne. If you're interested in the details, please check the official website.
I could eat spiny lobster and seafood funamori in a private room, so I could relax without worrying about my surroundings. They even gave me a birthday cake as a surprise.
Onsen20:00
Five attractive private baths
Gentle hot water of Anbo
There are 5 unique private baths, one of which is charged, but it is a famous open-air bath with a panoramic view of the jacuzzi. Private baths can be reserved at check-in.
The reserved open-air bath was the best! It was spacious and the night breeze felt good.
the 2nd day
Onsen06:30
Don't miss the public bath
Comfortable after bath
The large public bath, which opens at 5:00 in the morning, is perfect for a morning bath. After bathing, relax with free drinks such as coffee, tea, and flavored tea in the free lounge.
Get up early and take a bath in the morning. The air was clear and I was able to relax.
Breakfast08:00
Hearty
Japanese breakfast that pleases the body
Breakfast is served in the same dining area as dinner. You can enjoy a hearty Japanese meal in a private room while gazing at the morning ocean. If you would like to include breakfast, be sure to check out the official plan.
I had a Japanese set meal such as grilled fish and tofu. The miso soup with the whole spiny lobster was really delicious!
Check-out11:00
leave the inn
The scenery of Minamiboso and
thank you for your hospitality
There is also a beauty salon in the hall, but that will be another time. I checked out with a smile while thanking the staff of the inn and the hospitality of Minamiboso.
Sightseeing11:15
About 5 minutes by car from the inn
nostalgic memory
The one and only "Roadside Station"
Michi-no-Eki Yasuda Elementary School was built by renovating a closed elementary school. The classrooms are transformed into lodging facilities, and the gymnasium into a souvenir shop. You can eat lunch in the cafeteria♪
At Michi-no-Eki Hota Elementary School, which used the old school building as it was, I was immersed in the nostalgic feeling of my elementary school days.
Return trip15:00
like abroad
Enjoy the scenery on your way home
The beautiful scenery of the coastline makes the return journey even more enjoyable. The surprise trip from him will be an exciting memory until the end♪
On the way home, I stopped by "Chiba Fornia" in Sodegaura City. I took a lot of pictures in locations that made me feel like I was in a foreign country.

A trip to enjoy onsen and fine cuisine
A two-day trip with colleagues
Here is a review of a woman who went on a trip to Chiba with some work colleagues and stayed at Beachside Onsen Resort Umi.
First day
Start09:00
90 minutes by car from Tokyo to the inn
Drive to Minamiboso
Enjoy the view too
Minami Boso is known for its mild climate and calm seascapes. On your way to the hotel, be sure to enjoy the view of the sea, sky, and nature. Kyonan Town, where the hotel is located, is famous for its Yoritomo cherry blossoms, which are in full bloom from February to March, and for flowers that bloom all year round.
We went there by car. Before checking in, we stopped by the Hishikawa Moronobu Memorial Museum and the Nokogiriyama Ropeway, and enjoyed a peek into hell. The view of the Miura Peninsula was also refreshing.
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
At the seaside hotel
check-in
We drove to the hotel. The sea was right in front of us, and the sandy beach was only a 30-second walk away. Once we had checked in, we enjoyed a welcome drink on the Seaside Terrace. The wide open sky and the sound of the waves stimulated our travelling spirit.
Room15:15
Relax in your room
Enjoy the ocean view
All guest rooms have ocean views. They come with modern and sophisticated interiors, including the "Premium Rooms with Open-Air Baths" over 60 square meters and the "Standard Rooms (Japanese-Western style)" that can accommodate up to four people. Relax while watching the ocean outside the window.
Onsen16:00
First, go to onsen
Relax in a private bath
In addition to the paid panoramic open-air bath "Umi," there are four free private baths, for a total of five private baths in the hotel. Each has its own unique character, so enjoying bathing in each bath is a unique way to spend time at a onsen inn. Feeling the onsen breeze while bathing in the hot spring is extremely refreshing.
Before dinner, I first washed off the sweat in onsen. During my stay, I used four baths: Umi, Misaki, Nagisa, and Tsuki. All of them had ocean views and a sense of openness.
Dinner19:00
Munch on seafood
A sumptuous dinner
Enjoy dinner at the table-seating dining area "UMI." Minami Boso is known for its seafood. The owner himself bids on seafood caught at the local port and serves up special dishes. If you are unsure about meal, please contact the inn.
Night21:00
In onsen in your room
Take a bath at your own pace
If you choose a room with an open-air bath, you can enjoy onsen in a more relaxed and private space. In addition, the large communal baths (indoor baths) for men and women are open until midnight. If you want to stretch your limbs and relax, please come here. Of course, the large communal baths are also onsen.
After dinner we went to onsen again. The water felt really good.
Bar22:00
Terrace seating also available
To the bar lounge
In the evening, head to the bar lounge. Drinks, cocktails, sake, shochu, and original alcoholic beverages are all available. Last orders are at 10:30 p.m. Also, desserts and tea at dinner time are served in this lounge. Terrace seats are also available.
the 2nd day
Breakfast07:00
Carefully selected ingredients come to life
A simple Japanese breakfast
Like dinner, breakfast is served in the dining area "UMI." Enjoy a luxurious morning with a Japanese breakfast while watching the ocean sparkle in the morning sun. Recharge your energy with dishes made with carefully selected ingredients, including Nagaha rice, which is said to be rich in umami.
The morning meal was a beautiful Japanese morning scene, with horse mackerel fillets and homemade tofu. The rice cooked in the stove was delicious. The waiter asked if we wanted some scorched rice, which was a nice touch.
Check-out11:00
leave the inn
With a sense of satisfaction
check out
The fun time flies by and it's time to check out. Relax in your room, get ready, and prepare for your departure. Free Wi-Fi is available near the lounge on the 1st to 3rd floors, so you can do some research on tourist attractions.
Sightseeing11:30
About 5 minutes by car from the inn
Renovated an elementary school
Go to the "Roadside Station"
After checking out, we went for a drive to a roadside station. Roadside Station Yasuda Elementary School, built by renovating a closed elementary school, is a famous tourist spot. The nostalgic building houses a direct sales store and restaurants, so it's a great place to buy souvenirs.
After checking out, I stopped by the "Hota Elementary School Roadside Station" before heading home. I felt like a child again.
Return trip10:00
Enjoy onsen and delicious food
Return home feeling satisfied
Beachside Onsen Resort Umi is a resort hotel where you can enjoy plenty of hot onsen in five private baths and open-air baths in the rooms. You can enjoy a relaxing trip filled with a cozy lounge and plenty of seafood meal.
