Two days to experience the beauty of the countryside

First day
Start14:00
About 10 minutes by car to the inn
looking at nature
Drive to onsen Onsen
Minakami onsen with beautiful nature. Let's head to the inn while enjoying the surrounding scenery on the drive. If you get hungry along the way, stop by the long-established 80-year-old “Manjuya Fueki” in front of Minakami Station, and enjoy fresh cream-filled dorayaki.
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
Extraordinary once you pass through the gate
Heart-pounding check-in
Enter the hall through the historical gate. In the light-filled lobby lounge, there is also a free sake-tasting corner where you can taste local sake along with Gunma's famous ball konnyaku. Before entering relaxation mode, first check-in procedure.
When I arrived at the parking lot, the staff came to pick me up. Welcome drinks include juice, coffee, sparkling wine and Japanese sake.
Room16:00
wrapped in natural wood
Healing guest room
There are 10 guest rooms where you can feel the warmth of wood. There is a "main house" that has the atmosphere of a guest house, and a "separate" type that is full of privacy. Find your favorite room from a total of 6 types, including maisonette-style rooms and rooms with open-air baths.
Stayed at the INAKA suite with open-air bath in the main building. With an open-air bath, you can enjoy a relaxing onsen while listening to the sound of flowing water during the day and the chirping of crickets at night!
Dinner18:00
Enjoy the blessings of the earth
"Mountain food"
meal are served in a private meal room called Fukinoto. "Yamabito Cuisine" that uses plenty of local seasonal ingredients is served. Enjoy the blessings of the earth, such as homemade miso, mushrooms and wild vegetables procured directly from farmers.
I made a reservation for the Yamato cooking plan. After all, river fish are really delicious! It has no odor and the meat is fluffy.
Night20:00
talk at rest
a moment of the night
Free time after dinner. Enjoy onsen and relax with a free drink at the rest area "Keyaki" with a view of the courtyard. By the way, in the courtyard around June and July, you can see the fireflies that give the inn its name.
Relax in the open-air bath in your room at night. It also has a large shower room, which is convenient. It was a blissful time to eat ice cream prepared in the hotel after bathing.
the 2nd day
Onsen07:00
while basking in the morning sun
A day starting at onsen
Start your day with onsen. There are three private baths in the hotel, the semi-open-air Hotarusetsu-no-Yu and the two Iwa-no-Yu baths, which are inspired by the waterside of the Tone River. It's a 40-minute shift system, so you can use it whenever you're free.
Before breakfast, I took an open-air bath in my room. onsen in the still slightly chilled air in the morning are really the best. It's also nice to take a private open-air bath in the hotel ^ ^
Breakfast08:00
Your body will be happy with its simplicity
Breakfast in the countryside
You can also have breakfast at the meal. You can warm yourself up from the morning with delicious menu items such as “steamed egg custard with freshly squeezed soy milk” and “inaka-nimono”. The miso used in the miso soup is homemade, and the white rice is of a different brand than the one used for dinner. Feel the commitment.
In front of the gozen, warm dishes such as steamed rice bowls and simmered dishes were served. Warmth seemed to permeate my body when I had just woken up. meal was also easy to spend in a private room ◎
Check-out10:30
leave the inn
Enjoy your stay
check out
After a hearty breakfast, explore the inn and check out. Walk along the "Yamazato Corridor" that connects the main building and the detached house and enjoy the natural air, stop by the "Souvenir Shop" where famous sweets and handicrafts are displayed, and enjoy the final onsen...
After breakfast I did some work. Working in a place full of nature was soothing, and I took a break in the footbath and had a very comfortable time. My husband was in onsen alone.
Sightseeing11:00

For making memories for two
glass craft experience
For sightseeing near the inn, head to Tsukiyono Vidro Park. In addition to glass shops and factory tours, there is also a glass workshop. You can also make a vase, a colored sand candle, and a music box. It looks like it's going to be a souvenir.

Stayed in September 2021
We went there by rental car. The inn is in the mountains, so I think it's convenient to get around by car ◎ The raw dorayaki I ate around Minakami Station was fluffy and delicious ♪
