First day
Start14:00
About 16 minutes on foot to the inn
After arriving in Kusatsu
First, go to "Yukawa Terrace"
When you arrive at onsen resort of Kusatsu, first head to Yukawa Terrace, which is close to Yubatake. Spend a relaxing cafe time while enjoying sweets. You can also enjoy a foot bath with free-flowing Yubatake hot springs.
Sightseeing15:30
About 10 minutes by bus to the inn
By hotel shuttle bus
Easy
After sightseeing at Kusatsu's symbol, Yubatake, board a shuttle bus that will take you to your hotel. It's nice that it's easy to access from sightseeing spots.
From "Yubatake" to the hotel, we used the hotel's shuttle bus, which was very convenient!
Check-in16:00
Arrive at the inn
welcome drink
Hospitality◎
Welcome drink service at check-in. Let's take a break with tea. In the tatami-matted hall, you can enjoy the open feeling of walking barefoot.
I checked in at 16:00 and got tea as a welcome drink! I went in December, so there was a big Christmas tree and it was very nice!
Room16:30
Enjoy natural onsen as many times as you want!
Open-air bath in all rooms
The simply furnished Japanese-Western style rooms have separate living and sleeping areas. All rooms have an open-air bath, so you can enjoy the "Yukawa no Yu" hot springs to your heart's content without leaving the comfort of your room.
Surrounded by nature, I stayed in a twin room with an open-air bath with a great view. The rooms are spacious and very relaxing!
Recommendations from facility staff
Mr. Suzuki, sales manager
All rooms have an open-air bath, so you can enjoy onsen while staying in your room. In addition, the courtyard of the hotel has a different atmosphere depending on the season, so you can enjoy it every time you visit.
Freetime17:00
Inside the hotel until dinner time
have a relaxing time
At the souvenir shop, you can find sweets such as "Hanamame", a specialty of Joshu, that can only be purchased here. There are also other Japanese accessories.
I bought some souvenirs at the souvenir shop inside the museum.
Dinner20:00
Generous use of seasonal ingredients
Kaiseki cuisine used
Dinner is at the meal "Yuzan" in the hotel. There are partitions so you can relax and enjoy meal. The monthly menu is Japanese kaiseki cuisine that uses plenty of seasonal ingredients. Relax and savor.
I had it as a Japanese meal. For the main, you can choose from 4 types and eat Japanese black beef loin sukiyaki! I was very satisfied with the rice with crab rice!
Recommendations from facility staff
Mr. Suzuki, sales manager
meal are Japanese kaiseki. For the main dish, you can choose from grilled dishes and hot pot dishes on the day of the day. Popularity will be the pottery of the mountains.
Night21:00
Relaxing in the open-air bath in the guest room
Enjoy the famous "Yonaki soba"
After returning to the room, relax in the guest room open-air bath. If you feel a little hungry after taking a bath, try the inn's specialty, Yonaki Soba. You can have it at the resting place "Asahitsuki".
After dinner, I took a bath in the open-air bath attached to the room, and then enjoyed drinking in the room! There are also popsicles and Yonaki soba that you can eat after onsen.
Onsen22:00
Spacious
Stretch out in the public bath
Now that you've come all the way to Kusatsu, let's take a tour of the hot springs other than the open-air baths in the guest rooms! There are 23 types of large public baths and private open-air baths in the hotel. Relax and stretch your whole body in a spacious bathtub ... ♩

Enjoy the morning bath at onsen inn! The private open-air bath does not require a reservation, so feel free to use it. Enjoy the cypress bath and rock bath from the morning
We took a refreshing bath in the open-air bath in our room before breakfast, and it was a special time!
Recommendations from facility staff
Mr. Suzuki, sales manager
There are two large public baths that can be used by men and women alternately. I think that you can spend a day different from usual in the open-air bath in the morning.
Breakfast08:00
Both Japanese and Western cuisines smile
sumptuous breakfast
Let's have breakfast at meal "Yuzan". You can choose Japanese or Western food, so you can order something different with your boyfriend and share it.
You can choose Japanese food or Western food, and I chose Western food! There was a large selection of omelettes and freshly baked bread, and it was all delicious!
Check-out11:00
leave the inn
before leaving the inn
Stroll around the beautiful courtyard
The beautiful courtyard can be seen from anywhere in the building because of the corridor structure. Why don't you take a walk in the courtyard, which changes its expression with the seasons, and spend a moment of regret until check-out?
We took advantage of the late checkout. We were able to extend our check out time to 12pm for a reasonable price.
Sightseeing12:00
About 16 minutes on foot from the inn
View from Kosenji Temple
The scenery of "Yubatake" is ◎
"Kosenji" is known as one of Japan's three onsen springs, and you can get a red stamp. If you do your best to climb the long stairs, you can see the "Yubatake" from above.
I went to visit "Kosenji" near "Yubatake"! After that, we ate fried rice cakes and onsen eggs while walking around! It was delicious!
