Because it is a historical building, there are almost no same floor plans, and the guest rooms are designed in a sukiya-zukuri style. Enveloped in the scent of tatami mats and wood, the tense mind from work unwinds. On the mountain side, you can be soothed by the rich greenery of Mt. Yusaka, and on the river side, by the sounds of the Hayakawa River.

There are so many items, and each one has an elegant taste, and the matsutake mushrooms steamed in an earthenware pot were excellent. I was happy in-room dining even during the corona crisis, and I was glad that I could relax and enjoy it.

Enjoy the romance of the Taisho period and check out. You can also buy parquet accessories at a shop that has been around since the Taisho period. In the hall, there is also a handwritten calligraphy by Hirobumi Ito that named this inn, which he often visited, "Kansuiro", so be sure to look for it.
