The vast highland resort ``Gotenba Tokinosumika'' is located in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, one of the cities where you can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji. Access is approximately 2 hours by car from Tokyo. The free shuttle bus that runs from Mishima Station, Gotemba Station, Iwanami Station, etc. is also convenient.

At Mt. Fuji Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine
Relaxing visit
Before heading to your hotel, why not take a short break and enjoy some sightseeing? “Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha” in Fujinomiya City is the head shrine of Sengen shrines all over Japan. There are various attractions such as the transparent Wakutama Pond, and you can feel the mysterious beauty.
At "Mt. Fuji Hongu Sengen Taisha", you can see two shots of Mt. Fuji and the torii! Lunch is at the popular “Okonomi Shokudo Ito”. "Shigure-yaki" was hot and very delicious.

Procedures at each accommodation facility
Gotemba Tokinosumika is a vast resort with leisure facilities, onsen, and 7 accommodation facilities on a site of about 100,000 tsubo. You will be healed by the refreshing air of the plateau. Do not forget to check in advance as the parking lot and the front desk for procedures differ depending on the accommodation facility.
We stayed in a glamping tent. The reception staff kindly gave me a tour of the facility, so I didn't have any problems!

There are various accommodation facilities such as three types of hotels, cottages by the pond, and campsites. For a casual outdoor experience, we recommend a "glamping tent" that comes with a bed and does not require the hassle of setting up. There are three types of tents, so choose the one that suits your taste.
"Glamping Tent B-TYPE" was wider than I imagined, and the bed was big! The fountain show is near and the tension is up ♪ It was November, but it was relatively warm inside the tent.

Let's play a lot♪
There are plenty of facilities in the park that you can enjoy regardless of the weather. Outdoors, there are futsal and tennis courts, as well as spots where you can interact with animals. Indoors, there is an arena where you can do bouldering, a fantastic aquarium, a strawberry farm, and more.
We borrowed badminton and played. There was enough space in front of the tent and I could move my body as much as I could! It felt so good to be able to exercise in the clear air♪

There are many specialty shops such as a shop that sells their own beer and wine, a chocolate factory that roasts cacao beans, a bakery that uses a Spanish stone kiln, and more. How about buying alcohol and snacks and enjoying them at night or the next morning?
There are various specialty shops such as bread and chocolate, and you can enjoy it just by walking. The building is cute and soothing♪ The chocolate looked very delicious, so I bought one.
