Founded in 1884, "Haiya" is about 10 minutes by reservation-only free shuttle bus from JR "onsen Station." The abundant onsen that gush out from within the premises can be enjoyed in the large communal baths, which include a rock bath and a reclining bath, as well as in private baths (for a fee). Private baths are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a spacious changing room and sauna, so couples and families can enjoy the spa atmosphere in a private space.
