Kagawa is the smallest prefecture in Japan. However, I would like to go out with the whole family, such as ``Konpira Imperial Villa,'' affectionately known as ``Konpira-san,'' ``Ritsurin Park,'' which is designated as a special scenic spot by the country, and ``NEW Reoma World,'' where you can play all day long. The spots are packed full. It is also full of local gourmet foods such as Sanuki udon. On the other hand, because it's narrow, it's less of a burden to move around, and you can sightsee with less footwork, making it perfect for families traveling with children.
When traveling with children, luggage such as diapers and pajamas increases. So, this time, we picked up ryokan in Kagawa that have guest rooms with open-air baths and private baths, as well as hotels that offer a wide range of facilities and services for children. Please use this as a reference when choosing your accommodation.
"Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Reoma no Mori" is the official hotel of Shikoku's largest theme park "NEW Reoma World". "NEW Reoma World" is about a 3-minute walk away, and you can overlook the park from the hotel. Even if you get tired of playing, you can return to the hotel immediately, so you can enjoy the park with your child. Check out the great deals that come with a free pass! It takes about 35 minutes from JR Kotohira Station and about 15 minutes from Kotoden Okada Station by using the free shuttle bus from the station.
There are various types of guest rooms, including standard Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms with triple beds. Among them, I would like to recommend this family room for family trips. A spacious Japanese-style room in a cottage with a children's space with picture books and toys. In addition, it is fully equipped with auxiliary toilet seats for children, slippers for children, and step stools. The built-in water server provides not only cold water but also hot water at 70℃, so it is useful for making milk.
After playing to your heart's content at "NEW Reoma World," relax and sweat in onsen. At Mori-no-Yu, a natural onsen with a sense of openness, you can enjoy six baths and a jacuzzi with an indoor pool, including the Shiki-no-Yu Large Open-air Bath (pictured), where you can bathe while taking a forest bath or bird watching. There is also a small open-air bath with lukewarm water of 38-40℃, so it is easy for small children to take a bath! There is also a baby cot in the bath changing room and a baby bath in the bathing area, so you don't have to worry about bringing your baby with you.
Dinner and breakfast are "creative buffets" where you can choose only what you like. There is a wide selection of Japanese, Western, and local dishes made with seasonal ingredients from all over Shikoku, such as freshly fried tempura, fresh seafood, and freshly harvested vegetable salads, as well as a menu (pictured) that is popular with children. Masu. We also have baby food available, and you are welcome to bring your own. Children's tableware is also available for rent.
