As the name of the inn suggests, "Squirrels" visit the inn almost every day. Seeing the cute Squirrels with their ears standing up will surely soothe you as you enter a fantasy-like world!

If you're lucky, you might see a great spotted woodpecker perching on a tree in addition to the Hokkaido squirrels! Its striking white, black and red colouring means that when you hear its thumping sound on the tree, it's there. The small, round-eyed woodpeckers are also adorable. Hope Lodge Horseback Riding Ranch - Handmade Log House Inn is a log house inn located about a 50-minute bus ride from Chino Station in Nagano. You can enjoy horseback riding right in front of the inn, and interact with horses, sheep, dogs, and more. Use the reins well to make your horse walk well♪ The horses there are all calm, so even beginners can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

As the name suggests, the cottages are all handmade. Inside the building, there are many stylish interiors that bring to mind the world of movies. The name of the inn is carved into the entrance, and there are plenty of decorations that create a unique atmosphere, making it seem like you're in an extraordinary place.
