Shikishimakan is about 15 minutes by bus from JR Yugawara Station heading for Fudotaki/Okuyugawara. It is a onsen ryokan located almost in the center of the onsen town of Yugawara onsen. This ryokan is a "Private School Mutual Aid Association Inn", but of course it is also open to the public (private school mutual aid association members can stay at a cheaper rate). The entire four-story building is non-smoking. Wi-Fi is also available in the lobby on the first floor. It is very reasonably priced, has good food, and has a large open-air bath with a view, so it is recommended for solo travelers who want to enjoy Yugawara at a good price.
