Experience
A modern hotel in Nagoya
2 days and 1 night stay with mother and daughter
A woman who visited Nagoya with her mother will introduce a travel diary when she actually stayed at "Nikko Style Nagoya" along with her impressions.
First day
Start12:00
About 10 minutes on foot from Nagoya Station to the inn
Arrive at Nagoya Station
Sightseeing at royal road spots
Nagoya Station, the closest station to the hotel, is the gateway from Tokyo and Osaka. Shinkansen and private railways are available, and if you use the station as your starting point, you can enjoy your trip efficiently. First of all, visit the main sightseeing spots and taste “Nagoya cuisine” such as hitsumabushi and Ogura toast.
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
touch art and music
check in
Arrived at the hotel about 10 minutes on foot from Nagoya station. The lobby is decorated with shining shachihoko by projection mapping, and the BGM is an original song selected for this hotel. Listen to the music that never wears 24 hours a day, day and night.
The hotel's original BGM, Arimatsu crest tapestry, and Nikolai Bergmann Flowers & Design added color to the lobby space, which was extremely comfortable.
Room16:00
square modern room
Immerse yourself in the traditions of Nagoya
There are 191 guest rooms, all 30 square meters. It is divided into three floors: Premier, Deluxe Plus, and Deluxe. The square rooms have few partitions and feel spacious. Also pay attention to the Seto-yaki Shachihoko and Arimatsu-shibori cushion covers.
We stayed in the "Deluxe Twin Room". The rooms are spacious and very clean! I couldn't believe the quality in this price range.
Recommendations from hotel staff
Kuniyuki Nishi, General Manager
We are particular about each room amenity and rental equipment that we have a wide variety of items, and we have prepared something that you can't find anywhere else.
Dinner19:00
having fun with mother and daughter
Nagoya style dinner
For dinner, you can enjoy French-based creative cuisine at the "style kitchen" on the first floor. The original chicken wings and sauce made with red miso are all unique to Nagoya. There are many restaurants around the hotel, so feel free to eat out ◎
We had takeout at the Chinese bar "FARO/Flower Tower" right next to the hotel, and then returned to the hotel and had it in a nice room.
Relax21:00
with soothing amenities
Have an elegant bath time
Relax in the bath after dinner. All rooms are divided into bathrooms, toilets, and washstands with washrooms for a comfortable stay. Depending on the room grade, amenities such as French-made Thalgo and Thai-made PANPURI are also available.
Freetime22:00
in a functional room
spend time with mother and daughter
At night, it's time to get together while drinking an original blend of coffee specially roasted by a barista. A hand drip coffee set is also available for rent. Get drunk with your favorite music using the GENEVA speakers in all rooms.
I drank a coffee made in collaboration with “Trunk Coffee” originating in Nagoya and chatted with my mother. Equipped with a smart TV where you can enjoy YouTube, Netflix, etc. ◎
Recommendations from hotel staff
Kuniyuki Nishi, General Manager
The hotel's commitment to coffee and music is like a universal language. You can convey the charm of the hotel to customers around the world without saying much.
Night23:00
get ready for bed
into a dream...
The "Deluxe + Floor" rooms are designed specifically for sleep, and all rooms are equipped with Airweave mattresses, and pillows and foot pillows are available for rental. You'll be excited by the extensive range of items, including a four-piece organic skin care set and a special hair dryer.
Plan your sightseeing for the next day in your room and go to bed. The bedding was also solid, so I felt a sense of luxury in this respect as well.
the 2nd day
Morning07:00
In a museum-like lobby
A morning soaked in art
Take a walk around the hotel before breakfast. In the lobby, the shelves that reach the ceiling are lined with works of art, making it look like an art museum. There are many well-designed furniture, and you can enjoy an extraordinary hotel life not only by sitting, but also by just looking at it and walking.
One of the highlights of this hotel is the photogenic lobby and artistic chairs like Shachihoko! I spent my time taking pictures before breakfast ^ ^
Breakfast07:30
In "style kitchen"
Tokai breakfast
Breakfast is served at the "style kitchen". A half buffet with a choice of Western or Japanese main plate, additive-free juice, yogurt, etc. We also have carefully selected ingredients such as honey from Kuwana Kuwana, Masuzuka miso, and tomatoes from Ohashi Engei.
For breakfast, I was happy that Mikawa's ingredients were used abundantly, including seasonings! Among them, miso soup from Masuzuka Miso in Toyota City and eggs from Miyazawa Poultry Farm were very delicious.
Check-out10:00
leave the inn
take a break with coffee
leave refreshed
Take a break at the cafe and bar before checking out. The original blend by Nagoya's roaster "TRUNK COFFEE" is a special taste that changes the roasting and bean composition in the morning and daytime. Would you like to have a souvenir?
Recommendations from hotel staff
Bartender Yuto Nakane
We also have a large selection of local Nagoya craft beer and craft gins from around the world. You can also enjoy original cocktails that you can only drink here.
Sightseeing11:00
About 40 minutes on foot and train from the inn to Inuyama Station
Castle town "Inuyama"
Purari Stroll
On the second day, go sightseeing in the direction of Inuyama and enjoy a stroll through the castle town. Climb up "National Treasure Inuyama Castle" and enjoy the spectacular view of the Kiso River, and taste the simple taste of Inuyama's specialty "Miso Dengaku". There are also plenty of skewer gourmets that are perfect for eating while walking ◎
After visiting Inuyama's "Sanko Inari Shrine" and "National Treasure Inuyama Castle", we had lunch at "Matsunoya", a popular restaurant that is constantly visited by customers!
Return trip15:00
at a hotel with art
Two days spent with mother and daughter
Indulge in the hotel's original coffee and music, and enjoy the art throughout the hotel for two days. A memorable mother-daughter trip where you can relax in modern guest rooms and enjoy sightseeing in Nagoya. Why don't you come and make wonderful memories with your family?
