The nearest station to the hotel is Kanazawa Station, the gateway to Hokuriku where the Shinkansen runs. Buses and taxis are convenient from Kanazawa Station. If you have time, there is a free shuttle bus that will take you to the hotel in about 15 minutes ◎ If you come by car, you can use the parking lot for 1,000 yen per night.

When you arrive at the hotel and pass through the entrance, you will be fascinated by the brightly colored stained glass that represents the four seasons of Kaga. When you receive a cute room key with a swan logo, your expectations for your future stay will increase.
The hotel has a carriage porch, so it is important to be able to get in and out of the car without getting wet in Kanazawa, where there is a lot of rain and snow. I felt that it was a friendly hotel with many chairs in the lobby for the number of rooms.

There are 85 rooms in total, 6 types. All rooms are 30m2 or more, and there are a variety of rooms such as the "Roman Room" where you can receive high-quality hospitality, a spacious deluxe twin, and a Japanese-style room where you can relax. The atmosphere of the Taisho era with the canopy and lacquerware is a thrilling mode.
It was the most reasonable room called "Basic Twin", but I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. It's been built for many years, but it's beautifully arranged and perfect for an adult stay.

Taste at "Party"
After relaxing in the guest room, go to the tea lounge "Party" at the back of the lobby. The beautiful red carpet and elegant stained glass will make your heart dance. Here, you can enjoy fresh sweets from Kanazawa Higashiyama's famous store "Yoshihashi" that you can only taste in limited places.
We had fresh sweets from "Kichihashi" that you can't buy unless you make a reservation by the day before at "Party". My friend also ordered the jo-namagashi from Yoshihashi.

After taking a break, go to the natural onsen large communal bath with a sauna. The amber hot water drawn from 807m underground is popular as a bicarbonate hot spring for beautiful skin. There is also a shampoo bar in the public bath, so choose the one you like. Ice cream and juice are waiting for you after taking a bath ♡
We enjoyed the hot water slowly in the natural onsen bath, and had free Yakult, Joa, and ice cream. In addition to water, iced tea and orange juice are also available at the dressing room.

Taste the flavors of Kanazawa
Dinner is at the in-house restaurant, Kaga Ryori Mahoroba. Enjoy plenty of Ishikawa 's seasonal ingredients such as crab, Noto beef, and local fish delivered from Omicho Market. The Japanese garden that can be seen from the large windows offers a different atmosphere throughout the four seasons.
I had "Hyakumangoku Kaiseki". The chestnut rice of this month's mixed rice was the most delicious ◎ I was pleasantly surprised that "Kichihashi"'s fresh sweets appeared again for dessert.

Relax to the sound of the piano
After the meal, listen to the free piano performances at the lobby lounge "Party" and calm your mind. There is live music for 30 minutes every day from 20:00 and 21:00. Let's be soothed by the lively sound at a distance where you can feel the breath of the performer.
Along with the classics, Yuming's "Hikokigumo" and Seiko's "SWEET MEMORIES" were also very good, and the 30 minutes of excitement went by in the blink of an eye.

Once you return to your room, get ready for bed. All rooms are equipped with "Airweave" mattresses, which offer a premium sleeping experience. In addition to the yukatas provided, women can choose from colored yukatas available in the lobby. You can also freshen up in the bathroom in your room.
When I untie the tassel on the side of the bed, there is a curtain so that I can't see the sleeping face of the person next to me, and I felt the modesty of Kanazawa. Get a good night's sleep on the airweave mattress.

After waking up naturally to the refreshing morning light, go for an early morning walk. About a 5-minute walk from the hotel, Kenrokuen, one of Japan's three most famous gardens, has a free admission service before normal business hours, and is crowded with many people from early in the morning.
I got up early and went for a walk to nearby Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle Park, which are free early in the morning, and enjoyed the pleasant morning air.

For breakfast, enjoy a Japanese and Western buffet at the on-site restaurant "Buffet Dining Swan". You can enjoy the taste of Kanazawa that values local ingredients and cuisine. We have a wide selection of items such as handmade bamboo tube tofu, overnight dried blackthroat seaperch, Kanazawa oden, and Kaga vegetable curry.
It is a wonderful breakfast, and it may be the number one breakfast in Kanazawa in terms of content. For those who stay, we recommend breakfast included. The Kutani rice bowls and mugs were also cute.

After dinner, relax in your room. If you brew coffee with the capsule-type coffee machine in all guest rooms and pour it into a Kutani ware coffee cup, it will be a special moment.
In the guest room, there are triangle leaf bags of Kagabo Hojicha "Saka Ryokukoen", 4 types of capsules for coffee machines, and 2 Earl Gray teas, all of which were delicious.

After packing your luggage, check out Kanazawa souvenirs at the souvenir shop on the first floor. Check out is at 12:00, so you have plenty of time. Don't forget to take a photo with your friends of the lobby's beautiful stained glass and traditional arts.
In the lobby, in an inconspicuous place, there was a ``Kutani-yaki Hashioki'' gacha gacha made by ``Kutani Tosen'' in Ishikawa which sells everything from chopstick rests to living national treasures!

Within walking distance from the hotel are the Higashi Chaya District, the Omicho Market, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and the ruins of Nagamachi Bukeyashiki, a townscape with mud walls.
After relaxing with a cream soda while looking at the spectacular view of Kanazawa Castle at Horai-do, just before entering Kenrokuen, we toured the wonderful interior of Ishikawa Library.
