First, sightseeing in Fukuoka
The gateway to Kyushu, Fukuoka is a compact city full of attractions. The popular shrine “Dazaifu Tenmangu”, the natural spot “Shikanoshima” famous for its gold seal, and the seasonal flowers of “Nokonoshima” can all be reached within an hour by car or public transportation.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel directly connected to Hakata Station and check in. Even in the case of a car, you can park in the hotel parking lot or affiliated parking lot, so you can rest assured! I was fascinated by the glass-enclosed exterior full of greenery like an art work, and went to the lobby.
The front is spacious and the ceiling is high, so it's comfortable. The staff was polite and speedy. There are also two convenience stores across the road from the hotel.

All 208 rooms, 4 types are simple and modern. All rooms are more than 30 m2 in size and are equipped with open full high windows. If you're traveling as a girl, we recommend spending a luxurious time in a special room with a terrace, which has only 6 rooms.
I stayed in the "Deluxe Twin". The rooms are new, clean, and have a spacious and bright interior. The windows were large and the lighting was sufficient.

The rooftop spa area is fully equipped with an outdoor onsen pool, a sleeping bath, a whirlpool, a foot bath, a natural onsen indoor bath, and a sauna. Swimsuits are required to use the outdoor area. Swimsuits can be rented for a fee. Enjoy snacks and drinks by the pool.
Rent a swimsuit and go to the pool. A different space where you can look down on the city of Hakata and experience the wind of an urban city. The vertical design makes the pool long, and it is also good for underwater walking.

Enjoy the deliciousness of Kyushu
For dinner, you can enjoy innovative cuisine using plenty of ingredients from all over Kyushu at the all-day dining "Somewhere Restaurant & Bar" in the hotel. There is also a popular restaurant where you can eat motsunabe and fresh seafood on the 1st and 2nd basement floors of the hotel.
For dinner, we enjoyed sashimi and grilled blackthroat seaperch at Uokura on the 2nd floor of the hotel. We were able to enjoy delicious Kyushu specialties such as spear squid from Yobuko and conger eel from Tsushima.

At night, go to the large public bath of the spa on the top floor. The hot water is a natural onsen pumped from the premises. There is also a steam sauna for women and a dry sauna for men, so that both mind and body are in good condition. Relax while enjoying the view of Fukuoka Airport through the glass windows.
I got rid of my fatigue in onsen in the large public bath. The public bath is small, but it was empty on weekdays when I stayed ◎ Towels are provided so you don't have to bring them from your room ◎

When you return to your room, lie down on the original bed jointly developed with the American luxury bed brand Sealy. The bed has a built-in negative ion generating sheet, and a special mechanism that generates negative ions every time you move.
The slippers were soft and fluffy, and the linen was nice and comfortable. Bed was comfortable.

If you wake up earlier than usual, enjoy a morning bath. The bathroom is a spacious space with a washing area in all rooms except for the universal room. After taking a bath, enjoy a cup of coffee with the Nespresso coffee maker provided in your room.
The bathroom in the guest room has a washing area. There was also a separate bathroom and toilet.

For breakfast, enjoy a Japanese/Western set at the hotel's Somewhere Restaurant & Bar. Western food includes mentaiko sauce omelets, smoothies, and bread. For Japanese cuisine, you can enjoy Ariake seaweed, mustard mustard greens, mentaiko, and Hakata's specialty "Okyuto".

After dinner, head to the rooftop spa. You can also relax in the pool using the on-site onsen spring while watching the waterfall flowing from a height of 8m. You can also enjoy chatting with friends slowly in the gazebo and chairs. Enjoy an oasis in the city.
Until check-out, I went to the rooftop pool again and took a nap in the gazebo. I could taste the resort feeling that I could not imagine in front of Hakata station.

After you leave the hotel, why not go shopping at commercial facilities such as Amu Plaza Hakata and Kitte Hakata near the station? It is also recommended to go sightseeing in other prefectures such as Kumamoto and Saga from Hakata Station, where the Shinkansen and highway buses arrive and depart.
After checking out, we went to Horei-no-Yu in Kumamoto and experienced ``Jigoku-mushi,'' a process of buying vegetables and meat and steaming them with onsen steam!

Before going to the hotel, rent a car and go sightseeing on Shikanoshima Island where the gold seal was discovered. I felt the history of Japan by taking a picture with a gold seal replica at "Kinin Park".
