First, let's head to JR Kyoto Station. If you make a reservation at least one day in advance, you can use the pick-up service at your accommodation, which is very convenient. In addition, a pick-up service is also available from around Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Main Line and Kiyomizu Gojo Station on the Keihan Line.

Saka no Hotel Kyoto is located in the Higashiyama area where you can feel the atmosphere of history. As you proceed from the entrance to the lobby, you will be captivated by its beauty. The earthen walls made by representative Japanese plasterers are very impressive!
Check in at 15:00. It was check-in while having tea cakes in a wonderful lobby. I was able to take a break while looking at the garden, so I was able to get rid of my fatigue.

There are 17 types of guest rooms, including superior twins and deluxe twins with open-air baths. All of the rooms, which have both Kyoto-like modesty and a modern atmosphere, are extremely comfortable!
We stayed here to celebrate my mother's birthday. It is a "Superior Twin (with terrace)" with a calm Japanese taste. The room was spacious and I had a great time!

The biggest feature of Saka no Hotel Kyoto is the sake bath. You can enjoy a bath with luxurious sake from Fushimi, Kansai's premier sake brewery. Spend the best time in the cypress bath and open-air bath in your room, where you won't be disturbed by anyone.
The room bath is a cypress bath! That alone is luxurious enough, but we also add alcoholic bath additives (what an amenity!) in the cypress bath. It was already a blissful time!

Also pay attention to various amenities that are comfortable to use. For women, in addition to basic skin care, it is also attractive that there is a pack! Change into the yukata or haori, which are the clothes in the hotel, and take care of yourself while relaxing.
Amenities were very substantial, so I was just enjoying the healing time with packs and eye masks!

We enjoyed the cypress bath in our room again in the morning. Thanks to the bath salts from yesterday's sake, my skin was moist and I felt great!

One of the pleasures of traveling is the hotel's own breakfast. The meal is "Shimizu Saryo" as well as dinner. Let's have a Japanese breakfast that will enrich your heart, such as flavorful seaweed and warm rice.
We had breakfast at Shimizu Saryo. Among them, Awaji Island's Araboshi grilled seaweed is rare, and it has a nice aroma and goes well with rice and miso soup. Handwritten notes are also nice.

I took the train to Kyoto Kawaramachi station, and from there I used the hotel's pick-up service, so I was able to move smoothly! Pick-up must be reserved by the day before.
