It was a busy time around 16:00, but the hotel staff explained the inside of the building in detail.

There are various types of rooms such as elegant suites, Western-style rooms with a view of the sea, and cute onsen-style rooms.
We had Japanese sweets and tea prepared for us in the "Premier Twin" with a fine view bath. The sunset seen from our room was beautiful!

A wide variety of kaiseki cuisine
Dinner is a multi-course dinner featuring the delicacies of Izu's seamounts. The inn's specialty "Kinme sea bream boiled in atami" is exquisite. Be sure to check out the bespoke dishes using abalone and lobster, and the plan where you can enjoy meal in a private room.
"Alfonsino Atami" was big and had an impact! “Chawanmushi meringue-yaki”, which has a meringue-like surface, was also delicious.

After dinner, relax at Atami onsen. You can enjoy two private hot spring sources in a wide variety of baths such as open-air baths, private baths, and large public baths. I also yearn for a private onsen time in the room bath.

Feeling the night breeze

After bathing, let the hot body cool down. You can have a toast in your room. You can also relax on the wooden deck overlooking the night view of Atami, or on the lounge "Yu-Rakucho" with a café.
After taking a bath in the room with a view, I drank a mandarin orange craft chuhai that I bought around Atami Station. The combination of local drinks and onsen is the best!

Heartwarming Japanese breakfast
Breakfast is a Japanese set meal where you can taste local ingredients. You can choose from three types of dried fish, handmade tofu, and miso soup with a rich flavor from the sea. You can ♪ enjoy onsen while watching the morning sun before and after meal.
Among the breakfast items, the one that left the biggest impression on me was the melt-in-your-mouth “sea urchin shiitake”! The famous "Shirasu" in the Atami area was excellent with rice.

Drive around Shizuoka
On the second day, extend your legs from Atami to Numazu and Fujinomiya ♪ Let's enjoy seafood bowls at "Minato 83 Banchi" in Numazu Port and take pictures at the scenic spots overlooking Mt. Fuji.
The Mt.Fuji World Heritage Center, which has a view of Mt.Fuji, is a little-known spot. Not only the view from the observatory floor, but also the stylish building is great for photos!

Enjoy the 100% source onsen while gazing out at the clear waters of Atami. If you taste seasonal seafood, you should be able to make unforgettable memories. On the way home, it seems that the conversation will be lively, asking, "Where are you going next?"
