After getting ready for the trip, I boarded the train and arrived at Hakone-Yumoto Station. The relaxed atmosphere of "The onsen Town", lined with souvenir shops and restaurants, welcomes the two of them. This is the beginning of a relaxing Hakone trip.

Order "onsen pasta"
Have lunch at "Hortensia" in front of Hakone Yumoto Station. You can see Hakone Station from the window. "onsen Pasta" is popular because it uses a special salt and is filled with the aroma, taste, and ingredients of onsen.
The "onsen pasta with cloudy water" is a delightful dish with plenty of soy milk! Regular onsen pasta is a light Japanese style with a salty base. They were both delicious!

If you contact Gora Kadan from Gora Station, they will pick you up in a Mercedes Benz. The site, surrounded by beautiful greenery, is about 10,000 tsubo. You can feel the nature of Hakone Gora while staying at the inn.
The modes of transportation are the Romancecar and the Hakone Tozan Railway. walk from Gora Station. I was surprised that even though it was close to the station, they picked up and dropped off according to each group of customers!

The inn where we were warmly welcomed was a villa of a former royal family. You can feel the beauty of Japanese architecture everywhere. The floor of the hallway is made in the image of a temple and is made of tiles. Please ask the inn to take a commemorative photo of the two of you.
I arrived before check-in, but they kindly guided me. The moment I stepped into the premises, it was impressive that the inn showed me my luggage.

The guest rooms at "Gora Kadan" include "Annex", "Rooms with Open-Air Baths", and "Rooms with Observation Baths". All of them are elegant rooms filled with the beauty of Japanese houses.
The room we stayed in was a room with an open-air bath. There was a service of tea and Japanese sweets in the room. I was tired from moving, so I really enjoyed sweet Japanese sweets.

Open-air bath with free-flowing source
The open-air baths, large public baths, and private baths in the guest rooms are all high-quality onsen that flow from three private hot springs on the premises. In the open-air bath in the guest room, you can enjoy the time of two people slowly while embracing Hakone's nature.
The room I stayed in had an open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water, and I was surprised to find that there was also a shower room with a mist sauna!

Get more out of your stay
to the fitness gym
After taking a break in your room, go to the fitness gym equipped with the latest equipment. You can move your body and feel refreshed. There is also a "heated pool with an outdoor jacuzzi" that guests can experience for free.
Work out at the gym for 1 hour. It was reserved by reservation system to prevent infectious diseases. Wear and shoes can be rented for a fee. After this, refresh yourself in the large public bath!

Kaiseki cuisine featuring the four seasons
For dinner, you can enjoy Kaiseki cuisine that makes use of fresh seafood caught in Sagami Bay and Suruga Bay and seasonal ingredients from all over Japan. You can enjoy it in private dining or in-room dining, so you can enjoy the space of two people.
Dinner is simmered, fish, and meat. Since it was a in-room dining, I was able to relax without worrying about the eyes!

Bedrock bath for couples
Relax body and mind
After dinner, go to bedrock bath. Since it is a reservation-only charter with a capacity of 2 people, it can be used by couples. While healing music flows, you can gradually warm your body and mind.
There is a shower room in the bedrock bath, and shampoos are provided. I used it for the final guidance time, so I was told, "Don't worry about the end time."

After returning to your room, have breakfast. You can choose Western or Japanese food. Western food includes hot bread, 5 kinds of jam, and a choice of egg dishes. Japanese cuisine includes handmade tofu and selectable grilled fish. Both are attractive.
My husband eats Western food, and I eat Japanese food. From the four types of grilled fish, I chose Saikyo-yaki silver cod. There was a wide variety of items such as tofu, simmered dishes, and pickles that were as good as dinner.

At Gora Kadan, you can check out in the lounge or in your room. You can feel the hospitality of the inn so that you don't feel rushed when you return.
Since it was raining, he said, "I will prepare a car to the station." I checked out in my room, so I was able to relax until the very end.

The lounge "Hanakage" is available even after check-out. It is a cafe during the day and a bar at night. From the large window of the lounge, you can see the garden and Hakone Somma. Immerse yourself in the afterglow of your trip.
I had hot coffee in the lounge of the inn. I was able to spend a very elegant time with a cute original cup saucer while watching the seasonal autumn leaves.
