Experience
At a hotel inside the station building
Two days to rediscover the charm of Tokyo Station
We will introduce the course when a woman who had a hotel girls' party actually stayed at "The Tokyo Station Hotel".
First day
Start13:00
Directly connected to the inn
At historic Tokyo Station
Enchanted
Arrive at the beautiful red brick Tokyo station. Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station Building, designed by architect Kingo Tatsuno, is a masterpiece that has been in business for over 100 years. You can casually enjoy art at the museum inside the station building.
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
in an uplifted mood
check-in
Once you step into the hotel, you will find yourself in an elegant space. Atmosphere that chandelier shines in high ceiling, and is European classical music. Let's check in while immersed in romance.
Room16:00
in an elegant space
quality time
There are 150 guest rooms in total. There are various types of rooms, including spacious standard guest rooms of about 40 square meters, two-story maisonette-type rooms with internal stairs, and suites located on the top floor of the spire of the station building.
We stayed in the "Classic Comfort Queen". The classical interior and mirror were fashionable and cute! It was a smoking room, but it didn't smell at all.
Dinner18:00
While looking at the beautiful station building
Dinner time
In the "Shin-Marunouchi Building" and "Marunouchi Building" across from the hotel, there are plenty of gourmet restaurants, from Michelin restaurants to casual restaurants. Would you like to have meal while looking at the hotel where you are staying tonight?
I used a regional coupon to go to my favorite tonkatsu restaurant in the Shin-Marunouchi Building, Katsukichi. The tempura is crispy and delicious, and it's not expensive, so I go there occasionally.
Freetime20:00
Stroll around Tokyo Station
Check out the highlights
The exterior and interior of the hotel are classically decorated with a long history. The biggest highlight is the 28m high domes at the north and south exits of Marunouchi. Looking up from below, it looks like a kaleidoscope.
After eating, we explored the museum and went to see the dome. The dome and hallway decorations are both classic and cute, and I took a lot of pictures!
Bar21:00
in a quiet bar
a moment to talk
Enjoy a drink after visiting the sculptures and reliefs on the ceiling of the station building. There are two bars in the hotel: the casual bar “Camellia” and the orthodox whiskey bar “Oak”.
I had some leftover regional coupons, so I had a drink at Camellia. The atmosphere is good, and the night view from the window is beautiful! If possible, I wanted to come on a date (laughs)
the 2nd day
Breakfast08:00
More than 100 kinds of dishes are lined up
sumptuous breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Atrium, a lounge exclusively for hotel guests located on the central top floor of the station building. There are more than 100 kinds of dishes such as fresh vegetables and fruits, elaborate fish and meat dishes.
It boasts over 100 types of buffet, and the quality is one of the best among the hotels I've been to! It was the first time in a long time that when I asked for rice, it came out in a clay pot.
Check-out12:00
leave the inn
take it easy
check out
After dinner, relax in your room or check out the souvenir shop. The “Bungo Set,” which comes with notepads and ballpoint pens and is only available at this hotel, is popular.
Return trip13:00
A different view of Tokyo Station
Valuable accommodation experience
Until now, Tokyo Station has only been used as a ``station''.By staying at a hotel inside the station building, you can feel the long history and culture of Tokyo Station and experience a new side of it.
