Arrive at Kaihin Makuhari
Start your trip from Kaihin Makuhari Station, which is the nearest station to the hotel and is always busy with ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe. You can also go to the spa "Makuhari onsen Yuraku no Sato", which is about a 15-minute walk from the inn, and use the open-air bath and roryuu sauna to rejuvenate your body.

From Kaihin Makuhari station to the hotel about 5 minutes on foot. A slender high-rise modern building jumps into your eyes. There are 300 parking lots where guests can stay for free. You will be greeted by the staff at the entrance and checked in.
When I stayed, I went to the hotel early because my reservation was for early check-in. Check in while talking slowly with the person in charge before it gets crowded.

There are 418 guest rooms, 15 types in total. The rooms range in size from 26㎡ to 104㎡, and there are various types such as baths with views, balconies, bay windows, and Japanese-style rooms where you can lie down. If you're traveling alone, it's a good idea to enjoy a luxurious stay in a room with a great view.
Last time I stayed in a "twin" and this time I stayed in a "superior double". The 200cm size bed in the guest room was a special size that wouldn't fall off even if you lay down.

Afternoon tea
Afternoon tea at "Baycourt Cafe" on the top floor. You can enjoy special fruit sandwiches and cakes from the "Super Sweets Series" made with carefully selected ingredients unique to New Otani, along with a spectacular view from 100 meters above the ground.
It's been a long time since I had afternoon tea alone, so I was nervous, but I was able to spend a relaxing tea time ♡ Thank you for considering the sunlight.

For dinner, choose from one of the six restaurants in the hotel. You can choose from a variety of cuisines, including Japanese, sushi, teppanyaki, and Chinese. If you want a casual meal, try the all-day dining restaurant "SATSUKI," which also offers a la carte dishes, or if you're in the mood for a luxurious dinner, we recommend the teppanyaki restaurant "Keyaki."

After eating, take a stroll around the area. About a 3-minute walk from the hotel, Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari is an outlet mall lined with domestic and international brands and select shops. It is an irresistible spot for shopping lovers.

Back at the hotel, bath time. Depending on the room, there are also glass-enclosed shower booths and view baths overlooking Tokyo Bay, so you can spend a relaxing time. Stretch out your limbs and be healed during bath time.
The bathtub and shower room were separate, so I slowly soaked in the bathtub. After that, I enjoyed the night view from the window on the 21st floor ^ ^

When you wake up naturally with the morning sunlight coming in through the window of your room, start your activities. Take a morning walk to Mihama-en, a Japanese garden with a pond, about a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Enjoy a refreshing morning in a beautiful garden that expresses mountains, rivers, and forests.
It was on the 21st floor, so I slept with the curtains open and woke up feeling the morning sun. We had morning coffee while looking at the scenery.

For breakfast, choose a Japanese, Western, or Chinese buffet at "SATSUKI" or a breakfast set. At the buffet, you can enjoy Japanese and Western special omelets, chicken soup pho, homemade kiln-baked bread, and freshly steamed dim sum prepared by a chef cooking service.
It was a body-friendly breakfast with omelets made by the chef one by one, warm vegetables, vegetable juice, and vegetable soup. It's delicious and warms you up in the morning.

After returning to the guest room and relaxing again, look for souvenirs at "New Otani Shop Makuhari" and "SATSUKI" in the hotel. In addition to hotel-made items such as the leaf pie that has been loved since the hotel opened, and canned foods, you should also check out Chiba's specialty products.
Enjoy the scenery leisurely and spend a luxurious time looking out the window. The weather is nice and the view is great. I was really happy.

Take a carefree stroll
After leaving the hotel, head to Japan's largest commercial facility "LaLaport TOKYO-BAY" in Minami-Funabashi. About 440 stores gather, and you can enjoy gourmet food, shopping, movies, etc. in one place. Why don't you enjoy movies and cafe time by yourself?
About 20 minutes by car, I stopped by "LaLaport" and had a parfait that was a collaboration with "Zespri" that started that day♪ I really enjoyed my heart's rest trip ^ ^

Before going to the hotel, I enjoyed onsen with a view of the sea and a bedrock bath at Makuhari onsen Raku no Sato. There is also a rooftop, and the rest space in the bedrock bath space is the best!
