Shigira Seven Miles Resort has hotels and restaurants along the coast of Miyako Island. Among them, "Hotel Breeze Bay Marina Miyakojima" has a tower hall in addition to the main building, and all rooms have an ocean view. 2 days and 1 night stay in Miyakojima
I will introduce my travel diary when I stayed at "Hotel Breeze Bay Marina <Miyakojima>" on a trip to Miyakojima with my lover, friends and family, along with my impressions.

When you get off at Miyako Airport, a large shisa welcomes you at the front entrance. You will already feel like you are in Okinawa. A minibus runs between Shigira Seven Miles Resort and the airport, so you can easily access it without renting a car.

"Harry's Shrimp Truck" is a food truck where you can enjoy garlic shrimp, a specialty of Hawaii's North Shore. Nishihennazaki can be seen in the distance. Enjoy the ocean and Hawaii.
For lunch, I ate garlic shrimp at "Harry's Shrimp Truck" while driving. Garlic worked well!

There are two buildings, the "main building" with a tropical atmosphere and the "tower building" with an ocean view. The lobby of the main building was renewed in 2020 and became beautiful. Blue is inserted everywhere, and the bright atmosphere enhances the feeling of traveling.
I was also happy to receive a free ticket for "Ocean Sky", which allows you to ride the lift in pairs at check-in.

All rooms in the tower building and the main building have an ocean view, so you can enjoy the resort feeling. Rooms range from 35m2 to over 100m2 suites, so you can relax in a spacious area. You will be healed by the sea view from the terrace seats.
Stayed in a standard twin room in the main building with an ocean view. After drinking coffee in my room, I took a walk in Shigira Seven Miles Resort!

There are many restaurants in Shigira Seven Miles Resort. You can enjoy Chinese food, sushi, izakaya, yakiniku, BBQ, Italian, etc. even if you stay several nights without getting bored. For Okinawan cuisine, head to "Minamifu Yataimura BBQ" or "Soba Izakaya Saikai."
For dinner, we went to “Minamifu Yataimura BBQ” which is right next to the hotel where we are staying. There are single items and set meals, and I was able to spend my time watching Eisa and Shamisen live performances!

How to spend the night in Miyakojima
At night, it would be nice to take a walk around the resort and observe the stars, or have a drink in the lounge. You can enjoy soaking in the hot water while gazing at the night sky at Shigira Kogane onsen. Let's spend time openly while being wrapped in the wind of the southern island.
After taking a bath, I spent time drinking with my boyfriend on the veranda of the room while watching the illumination of the garden.

The Ueno German Culture Village in Shigira Seven Miles Resort is a museum modeled after a German castle. It is a popular spot in Miyakojima where you can enter for free. There is also a large park, perfect for walking.

Breakfast is a buffet at the hotel's restaurant "Portofino". There are about 70 kinds of dishes such as Miyako soba, rafute, French toast, omelets, and freshly baked bread. Satisfaction with Japanese, Western, and Okinawan cuisine ◎
Especially the miso soup with bonito stock was delicious. Since it was the beginning of the year, there was also a Ryukyu court dish "Todobon" as a New Year's treat.

I rode "Ocean Sky" in Shigira Seven Miles Resort. The men are not good at high places, so we were able to see the whole resort with just the women!
