It takes about 30 minutes by car from Kobe Station to Arima onsen. Children can go out quickly without getting bored. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the inn to the center of onsen town. How about playing in the water at "Arima River Shinsui Park" and eating while walking at "Yumotozaka"?

ryokan“ Miyukiso Hanamusubi” has an unpretentious and relaxing atmosphere. When you arrive, how about taking a break at the "Lounge Hatsuhana" overlooking the Japanese garden? You can leave your car and luggage even before check-in, so you can visit early and go sightseeing in Arima.

Relaxing room
The rooms are relaxing and Japanese-style, with 30 rooms in total and 11 types. There are plenty of options, including rooms with open onsen baths, Japanese-style rooms that can accommodate up to six people, and Japanese-Western rooms where even those who prefer beds can relax comfortably. It's also nice that all rooms are equipped with Pola lotion and makeup remover.

To onsen private hot spring bath
After taking a short break in your room, head to the paid private bath Hanagokoro. Enjoy the reddish-brown natural onsen "Kinsen" with your family. The washroom and dressing room are spacious, so you can spend your time in the bath in the comfort of your own home.
I went to the private open-air bath that I reserved in advance. It was spacious even for a family, so it was nice to be able to take a bath with everyone. For a fee, there are also yukata for children.

Enjoy the feast
Dinner is a multi-course meal using seasonal ingredients. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu, including sashimi, hotpot, and meat. Some rooms have in in-room dining, so you can enjoy your meal at your leisure without worrying about the people around you. It's also nice that they offer a children's menu in a cute flower basket and rent out high chairs.
We had Japanese food in our room. The hot pot was very delicious with various ingredients such as spiny lobster, clams, and mushrooms. Children's tableware was also borrowed.

If you find it difficult to fall asleep when you change pillows, check out the "Pillow Choices" corner on the first floor. You can choose your favorite pillow from several types, such as feather and memory foam. Children's bedding can be rented, so if you need it, please check when making a reservation.
It was nice to be able to choose from several types of pillows! Also, since I have children, it was helpful to have rental DVDs and picture books.

Refresh in the public bath
The observatory large public baths are switched between men and women, and can be used until 24:00 at night and from 6:00 in the morning. You can enjoy two types of natural onsen in the spacious indoor bath and open-air bath. Baby beds and chairs are also available, so you can take a bath with your child.
Both the indoor and outdoor baths were clean. The scenery was good and I was healed.

Breakfast is a Japanese set meal with miso soup and grilled fish. There are various side dishes, and you will want to refill the freshly cooked rice. Let's take your time at the meal place "Flower Walk" with table seats and completely private room seats.
We also had Japanese food in the morning. There are about 6 types of small bowl dishes. I had a lot of fun and it was delicious.

Start sightseeing!
At the Hananobe shop on the 1st floor, you can find Arima's traditional handicrafts, the specialty of Arima, Tantan Senbei, as well as original ryokan goods. Buy a souvenir to commemorate your stay and start sightseeing on the second day.
The people at the inn were all kind, and even when the children talked to them, they answered them happily. When I got home, I went out and said goodbye.

At "Arima Masuike"
Fishing experience that children will love
"Arima Masuike" where you can enjoy rainbow trout fishing and feeding experience in a pond that uses a clear stream. It is also a perfect spot for children's fishing debut. At the adjoining Masu no Chaya, you can enjoy dishes made with the fish you catch.
We went fishing at "Arima Masuike" and had the fish fried and eaten.

I visited as a family of five with three children, a second grader, a kindergartener, and a two-year-old child. There was a free parking lot just a short walk from the inn, which was convenient.
