I checked in at 15:00 and was immediately served a cold drink. It was my first time glamping, but I was relieved to have a polite explanation.

Glamping buildings with wonderful names such as "Honey Natural" and "Brown Premium". You can spend a relaxing time in a detached room. Because there is no TV on purpose, it is a calm time ♪
The building we stayed in had a capacity of two people, an open-air bath, and a terrace on the second floor. It was a comfortable space surrounded by greenery.

The murmuring of the brook is comfortable, and the location is rich in greenery. Why not take a break on the terrace where you can feel as if you are immersed in nature? I seem to have completely forgotten the daily chores.
It was impressive to see the natural greenery from the window, the bath, and the terrace. Because it is a detached room, you can enjoy it without worrying about other customers.

Dinner is a barbecue featuring ingredients from Gunma! Let's relax on the terrace of your room. It's safe because it's pre-set so it's easy to eat.
We had a barbecue. All the ingredients and utensils were prepared, and there was a wide variety of ingredients.

Shima Onsen is an old-fashioned onsen onsen. It is an area where you can fully enjoy the rich nature, such as lakes, mountains, and clear streams. It's a perfect destination for family trips. The recommended sightseeing spot is the mysterious blue "Lake Okushima".
I went there by my own car. "Locarre Gelato" has local gelato such as "Shiman Blue" flavor, which is perfect for sightseeing. After that, go to "Lake Okushima".

Check-in is at the front desk and cafe building. It also serves as a cafe called "Shima Blue Cafe", and the drink menu that seems to be Instagrammable was impressive.

It is a room with the theme of "secret base" called Island Blue. There is a dome tent and bouldering on the first floor. The open-air bath and wood terrace have a great sense of freedom.

For dinner, enjoy a hot barbecue on the terrace. You don't need to bring your own food, everything will be provided by the inn. Excellent volume such as Joshu beef and Gunma vegetables! If you cook around the grill with your family, your bond will deepen ◎
We had a barbecue on the terrace of our room. The meat and vegetables are all delicious, and it's great to be able to enjoy it while playing your favorite music on the rental speakers.

Adults spent some time on the terrace drinking alcohol and chatting, while children spent time relaxing in hammocks.

All rooms are equipped with an onsen spring bath where you can enjoy hot water flowing directly from the source. The bathtubs are designed differently depending on the room. There is also a "Forest Sauna" on the premises that can be reserved for private use. Let's refresh with cellulouryu.
At night, go to the open-air bath in your room. Shima spring quality was gentle on the skin and I was able to relax.

In the morning, go to the open-air bath in your room. The morning bath while forest bathing was the best!

Choose where you like to eat breakfast, either in your own room where you can meal at your own pace, or at the bright atmosphere of Shima Blue Café ♪ You can't help but be amazed by the sight of eggs, soup, and freshly baked bread from Gunma lined up. My heart is soaring.
We had a morning menu such as bread, sausage, and salad on the terrace of the room. There was another goodness different from the barbecue, and I felt refreshed.

Shima onsen town is known for its nostalgic atmosphere. You can also enjoy a walk. Yanagiya Ryokan Playground, where you can enjoy nostalgic smart balls, is one of the most famous spots. If you get tired of walking, go to the retro-modern Kashiwaya Cafe.
We enjoyed smart ball at Yanagiya Ryokan Yugijo and stopped by Kashiwaya Cafe. The specialty of the cafe, onsen spring mark cappuccino is very cute and recommended.
