The drive to experience the tropical atmosphere was the perfect way to refresh myself during the COVID-19 pandemic. On the way, I stopped off at a cute cafe called "Trail Market & Coffee."

We headed to the front desk and lounge on the top floor. A breathtaking view spread out before us. We toasted to our anniversary trip with a bite-sized cake. We enjoyed free alcoholic drinks and snacks.
The free fruit wine from Chiba that was available in the lounge was delicious. It was a comfortable place, and I visited there many times during my stay.

When you enter any room, you will be greeted by a spectacular view of the sea and sky ♡ Comprising a Classic Building and a Prestige Building, there are a total of 26 rooms in a wide range of types, from standard to suites.
I stayed in the "Standard Room" in the Classic Building. The view was amazing! I was moved by the endless sky and sea.

This bath is the highest in Chiba as a large public bath. You can experience a healing experience that melts your body and mind in the infinity onsen where you can become one with the panoramic Pacific Ocean.
Even if your room has a bathtub, you should definitely go to the large communal bath! They also offer free ice cream after you bathe.

Tateyama is known as a "treasure trove of fish." At "Sazane," they go fishing on their own boats. The fresh fish sent directly from the ocean to the kitchen is exquisite. They also serve creative dishes made with locally produced ingredients, such as "Fushihime beef." If you're interested in what meal include, check out their official website.
It was served on a plate in the shape of Chiba and was brought to us enveloped in smoke! It was not only delicious, but also stylish and visually pleasing dinner time.

Enjoy "Tateyama onsen"
All rooms have a terrace and an open onsen bath. Enjoy onsen time just for the two of you while watching the natural planetarium. The refrigerator in the room is free of charge, so it's a good idea to refill your drinks.
Leaning myself into the illuminated bathtub in the pitch black of the night was somehow magical and very soothing.

The view from the open-air bath in your room in the morning is refreshing, a stark contrast to the night! If you bathe in Tateyama onsen many times, which is known as a skin-beautifying bath and has a rare sodium bicarbonate spring in the Boso region, your skin will be silky smooth by the time you return home.
I woke up early because I wanted to see the sunrise. The morning onsen were amazing, with a spectacular view that was completely different from the night view!

Breakfast and dinner are served in a restaurant with a sea view. You can choose your favorite set from Japanese or Western. The dried fruits toppings for the yogurt are served in cylinders, which is very stylish.

After the meal, we went to the lounge. In stark contrast to the moody evening, the clear morning offered a refreshing view. There was also terrace seating, so it felt like we were on the deck of a ship, sailing the open seas.

Check-in at the lounge with terrace. The sea can be seen from the large windows, creating an open atmosphere. Children under the age of 13 cannot stay, so you can spend a quiet time with adults only. While enjoying a welcome drink, savor the high-quality, extraordinary experience.
Check in at 16:00. They picked me up at the car and carried my luggage. There was also a welcome drink.

A room with an open-air bath on the top floor with a nice view (upgraded). It was spacious and beautiful, and I had a lot of fun with the live on YouTube.

It was a course meal that was enjoyed slowly over a period of 2-3 hours. The meat, sashimi and spiny lobster dishes were all delicious and we enjoyed watching the chef prepare them.

You can enjoy "Tateyama onsen" in your room or in the public bath. The infinity design where the sea and the public bath blend together creates a fantastic atmosphere at dusk. Soaking in the hot water while gazing out at the sea will make you feel like your daily fatigue will melt away.
I went to the public bath and ate ice cream. I came back to my room, took an open-air bath, drank alcohol, and watched a movie.
