First of all, sightseeing in the surrounding area
The hotel is located directly above Shin-Yokohama Station and has excellent access. It's directly connected to the station, so you can arrive without getting wet even in the rain, which is great for families with children. If you are coming by car, please use one of the three nearby affiliated parking lots. When you arrive at Shin-Yokohama Station, leave your luggage at the hotel and go sightseeing first.

The hotel is located in the same building as the station building "Cubic Plaza Shin-Yokohama", and the 10th to 19th floors are the hotel floors. Head to the 10th floor where the front desk is located and check in. I received the card key and my heart raced for my upcoming stay.
The receptionists are always very polite and make you feel comfortable. The plan I reserved was "Nozomi 30th Anniversary Special", so I received a souvenir for my grandson ^ ^

A total of 203 rooms, 9 types. The interior is simple and modern, and the size varies from 23m2 to 51m2. Bright sunlight enters through the floor-to-ceiling windows, creating an open feeling. If you are traveling with children, we recommend a train view room where you can see the Shinkansen.
Stayed in a non-smoking moderate twin. It was a room with a view of the Shinkansen in the "Nozomi 30th Anniversary Special". If the morning is clear, you can even see Mt. Fuji.

The hotel does not have a restaurant where you can eat dinner, so let's eat out. If you want to eat nearby, there are restaurants on the 9th and 10th floors of the same station building. It is also recommended to have a local dinner at "Yokohama Chinatown" about 35 minutes by train ◎

After returning to the hotel, have tea time at the Associa Lounge on the 12th floor. Guests can enjoy free drinks from 11:00 to 22:00. There are also freshly ground coffee, about 10 kinds of tea, orange and apple juice, and children can enjoy it.

Go back to your room, take a bath and get ready for bed. Children's amenities such as baby beds and toothbrushes are also available, so let's ask in advance. Lie down on the comfortable Serta mattresses in all rooms and drift into a dream.
In the bath, I enjoyed a bubble bath in a large bathtub! At night, I enjoyed turning off the lights in my room and opening the curtains to see the Shinkansen and the night view.

When you wake up in the morning, you can start the day by observing the city from the window of your room as it begins to move. Get some exercise in the on-site gym, or wash your clothes at the laundromat before breakfast.
I woke up in the morning, opened the curtains, and showed my grandson the Shinkansen. Grandson was delighted! There was also a picture of an old Shinkansen in the room, and I felt nostalgic.

"Royal Host"
Japanese and Western breakfast buffet
For breakfast, about 90 kinds of Japanese and Western buffets are served at the "Royal Host" on the 10th floor. You can enjoy freshly baked homemade bread, pancakes, curry, and freshly made omelettes. There is also a counter for drinks, and there are a wide variety of seasonal drinks and cafe lattes.
Breakfast was buffet of "royal host" of hotel. The pancakes were delicious too! It was a buffet that children can enjoy.

Choose Yokohama Souvenirs

After eating, look for Yokohama souvenirs on the 3rd floor of the station building "Cubic Plaza Shin-Yokohama", which is open from 9:00. Pack the souvenirs you bought in your luggage, take a commemorative photo with your family in the guest room or on the front floor, and then check out at 11:00.
Since I stayed at the "Nozomi 30th Anniversary Special", I put on the conductor's uniform and hat and took a picture with my grandson. I had a great time talking to foreigners.

After leaving the hotel, go sightseeing in Yokohama. It is full of sightseeing spots that children will love, such as large parks, amusement parks, museums and factories. If the weather is nice, we recommend taking a water bus that goes around sightseeing spots such as "Minato Mirai 21" and "Yokohama Bay Bridge".
Take the water bus "Seabus" to the amusement park of "Minato Mirai 21". The view from the Ferris wheel was great. There is also a corner for children, so 3 generations enjoyed it.

I went by Shinkansen. If you go out from the west ticket gate, there is a hotel right away, which is convenient! I left my luggage at the hotel first, and then went to Candyapple with my grandchildren. It was a very satisfying deliciousness.
