Celebration of marriage at a onsen ryokan ♡
Atami girls trip, 2 days and 1 night lodging record
We will introduce a travel diary of a female traveler who stayed at Furuya Ryokan, along with her impressions.
First day
Start14:00
About 10 minutes on foot to the inn
Arrived at Atami station.
Sightseeing in front of the station
The Heiwa-dori Shopping Street near Atami Station is full of souvenir shops, dried fish shops, kamaboko shops, restaurants, and stylish cafes. You can also buy snacks to eat at the inn or stop by for lunch ◎
Check-in15:00
Arrive at the inn
Passing through the Takeda Yakata Gate
check-in
In Atami, where modern hotels are lined up, the gate is reminiscent of a long-established store. The restored Takedayakata Gate and magnificent pine trees are impressive. Waitresses dressed in kimono greet you and check you in at the lobby.
Room15:30
Relax in a Japanese-style room
Stretch your legs and relax
The tatami-floored Japanese-style room in the Sukiya style gives you a sense of Japanese culture and makes you feel relaxed. Beyond the veranda you can see a garden where you can immerse yourself in a Japanese atmosphere. The bathroom also has a separate toilet and bathtub, making it comfortable.
It is a good memory that I changed into a yukata and started a photo contest like a girls' association.
Onsen16:00
Private onsen
Relax in the guest room bath
If you have a room with an open-air bath, you can enjoy the natural free-flowing onsen whenever you turn on the faucet. Set the temperature of the hot water to your liking and relax.
Dinner18:30
in-room dining girls' party
start!
There are 13 basic kaiseki dishes. The orthodox cuisine that starts with an aperitif is luxurious with A4 Wagyu beef teppanyaki. On a special day, you can also make a special order for a luxurious dinner with simmered alfonsino and funamori.
We had a luxurious meal with abalone and beef steak in our room. The appetizer was very cute with a lot of side dishes served little by little.
Onsen20:00
Free-flowing hot springs♪
Enjoy onsen bath
The renovated women's public bath has an open-air bath and an indoor bath made of cypress. A device that sterilizes the dressing room 24 hours a day, and "Kumanaisan", which allows you to check the congestion status from your smartphone, are also useful.
I enjoyed onsen with only girls. It was good to be able to take a leisurely bath in the private bath.
the 2nd day
Morning07:00
in the room before breakfast
Wake up refreshed in onsen
The fresh onsen that do not circulate gradually permeate your waking body. You can change the bath towels as many times as you like, so please ask the waitress.
I took a bath in my room. The bath in the morning air was the best!
Breakfast08:00
Breakfast is also in-room dining.
Satisfaction with a wide variety of items ◎
There are many dishes that go well with rice, such as the hotel's special salted fish, onsen eggs, side dishes in a multi-tiered box, and sashimi. Get up early and be hungry. You can also choose porridge that is gentle on your stomach when you wake up.
Check-out11:00
leave the inn
Seen off by Nakai-san
check out
Check-out is usually at 11:00, so you can take your time getting ready. Enjoy a soak in onsen or relax in your room.
Sightseeing11:30
About 10 minutes on foot from the inn
Stroll through Atami Station Shopping Street
Sightseeing & souvenir hunting
Take a walk through the Nakamise Shopping Street and Heiwa-dori Shopping Street in front of Atami Station and enjoy souvenirs and eating while walking. Look for local specialties such as Atami's famous dried fish and onsen buns.
