Furuya Furuya Ryokan gate. One of the seven hot springs of Atami, "Seizaemon-no-Yu", has its own source, and you can enjoy the raw source without heating or adding water in the guest room open-air bath. For dinner and breakfast, enjoy a Kyoto-style kaiseki meal that includes abalone and beef steak in your room. For breakfast, you can enjoy a wide variety of items such as ohitsu rice, dried horse mackerel, and the famous salted fish.

I took a break while drinking café au lait at CAFE KICHI, a stylish cafe in the Nakamise Shopping Street in front of Atami Station.

In Atami, where modern hotels are lined up, the gate is reminiscent of a long-established store. The restored Takedayakata Gate and magnificent pine trees are impressive. Waitresses dressed in kimono greet you and check you in at the lobby.

If you have a room with an open-air bath, you can enjoy the natural free-flowing onsen whenever you turn on the faucet. Set the temperature of the hot water to your liking and relax.

There are 13 basic kaiseki dishes. The orthodox cuisine that starts with an aperitif is luxurious with A4 Wagyu beef teppanyaki. On a special day, you can also make a special order for a luxurious dinner with simmered alfonsino and funamori.

We had a luxurious meal with abalone and beef steak in our room. The appetizer was very cute with a lot of side dishes served little by little.

Enjoy onsen bath

The renovated women's public bath has an open-air bath and an indoor bath made of cypress. A device that sterilizes the dressing room 24 hours a day, and "Kumanaisan", which allows you to check the congestion status from your smartphone, are also useful.

I enjoyed onsen with only girls. It was good to be able to take a leisurely bath in the private bath.
