"Taiza onsen Sumihei" stands on a quiet hill in "Taiza" in the northwestern part of the Tango Peninsula. A long-established ryokan founded in the first year of the Meiji era. The modernly refurbished building offers a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. Soothe the sounds of the sea in your guest room facing the sea, and fill yourself with 6 private onsen and exquisite gourmet food. While enjoying a drive with him, we headed to Taiza, the northernmost point of Kyoto. Around Tainin, there are sightseeing spots where you can enjoy nature, such as the mysterious Tateiwa Rock, which is said to have a legend of demon extermination, and Jojima Park, where you can take a stroll.

Taiza Onsen onsen stands on Sumihei hill overlooking the Sea of Japan. A long-established ryokan founded in the first year of the Meiji era. The hall is modern and is redecorated, and luxury feeling is plentiful. Take a break with sweets and tea served in the stylish lobby with a spectacular view.
I checked in at 15:00. The view from the lobby was also very nice, and it was fun without getting tired of waiting.

Taiza is also known as the town of the setting sun. Take a walk around the area with him in the evening. The nearby Sunagata Beach is as quiet as a private beach, so you can spend a romantic time with him.

"Sumihei" was originally a restaurant ryokan. For dinner, we recommend the kaiseki course, which uses plenty of seafood such as the day's best Hashiudo crab, abalone, and shrimp. The venue is a private meal room, so you can enjoy it slowly with just the two of you.
Dinner is mainly seafood. We ate a lot of sea urchin, conger eel, and oysters. When I told them it was our anniversary, they gave us cold sake and it was wonderful♪

The lounge with an ocean view has a comfortable sofa space and a library with more than 350 books. Perfect for enjoying the evening. It's nice to have a drink or coffee while gazing at the flames of the fireplace.
I went to the library building, drank alcohol, and enjoyed reading while eating snacks.

On the premises, there is a private bath building "Senshizuku no Yu". You can feel the mountain breeze in the four private baths such as "Tsukimi no Yu", and enjoy the ocean view in the two private baths "Umi no Yu" and "Sakura no Yu". It's also nice that the baths are free except for "Sakura no Yu".

After a long-awaited luxury trip, let's spend the time relaxing in the hotel until check-out. It is also a good idea to take a photo at the end of your stay. There are plenty of photogenic spots, so no matter where you take pictures, you will surely have wonderful memories.
We extended the checkout time by an hour and had a leisurely morning. Finally we took a picture.

Used for anniversary trip with him. We headed to the inn by car, and before checking in, we stopped at the Wakuden no Mori restaurant for lunch! The rice was very delicious♪
