Arrive at Tokyo Station, the center of Japan. The atmosphere is different between the Marunouchi side where you can enjoy shopping and lunch, and the Yaesu side where the business district and underground shopping area are well developed. Downtown areas such as Nihonbashi and Yurakucho are also within walking distance.

To the hotel just outside the Yaesu North Exit. This inn started as a branch of the former Nakuraya ryokan in 1897, and has inherited the tradition to become the current Hotel Ryumeikan. The signboard of "ryokan Gofukubashi Ryumeikan" at the entrance makes you feel the history.
I didn't have to wait for check-in and it was smooth. I wanted to run the next morning, so when I asked about the course, they kindly taught me ^ ^

There are 135 guest rooms in 12 types. It is a modern and calm space based on the traditional Japanese color Edo purple. There is a wide variety of rooms, including a single 70.3㎡ suite, a Japanese-Western style room with Ryukyu tatami mats, and a functional guest room with a large desk and shower booth.
Stayed in the largest suite. In the guest rooms, there are Tokyo-style sweets, shoe trees, and green bamboo steps.

The department stores "Daimaru Tokyo" and "Nihonbashi Takashimaya SC" are also conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, so you can take a leisurely stroll to find gourmet food in the basement of the department store♪ Spend a comfortable time while feeling the city atmosphere. huh?
I had a snack purchased at Daimaru department store and a drink in the refrigerator service and relaxed.

For dinner, enjoy kaiseki cuisine at the in-house restaurant Hanagoyomi Tokyo. From the 15th floor, you can enjoy the view of Tokyo Station while having a sake taster choose the sake that goes well with your meal. There are many gourmet spots in Tokyo Station, so eating outside is also recommended.
For dinner, I enjoyed Japanese sake and soba at the soba restaurant “Asama” in the “Tekko Building” next to Tokyo Station.

Exciting evening walk
After dinner, go for an evening stroll. If you go through the free passage of Tokyo Station, you can smoothly exit to Marunouchi. You can take pictures of the historical red brick station building, and look around the complex facilities "Marunouchi Building" and "Shin-Marunouchi Building", and be intoxicated by the atmosphere of Tokyo Station.
At night, I took a walk around Tokyo Station and leisurely walked around the Marunouchi area.

Relaxing bath time at night. The bath amenities are the "Triple C" series of the hotel's original popular product "Pelican Soap". If you choose a room with a view bath, you can relax while enjoying the glittering night view of Tokyo.
I could see the night view of Tokyo from the window in the stand-alone bathtub, and I was able to relax very much. It's so quiet and comfortable that you wouldn't believe Tokyo Station, the center of Japan, is just a few minutes walk away.

Get off to a fresh start
Get up early and go for a run to the Imperial Palace, which is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The Imperial Palace Running is also famous for being able to run without waiting for traffic lights on a loop course of 5 kilometers per lap. The scenery of skyscrapers and the Imperial Palace will wash your mind.
In the morning, I went for a run to the Imperial Palace. It was very easy and refreshing to run.

After dinner, lie down on the bed and relax. The suite is equipped with an airweave mattress pad that improves the quality of sleep, making it easy to toss and turn, so you can spend a comfortable time even for a short time.
The room is a warm and relaxing space with warm color lights based on brown and white. Until check-out, I took a nap in a comfortable bed.

Let's enjoy sightseeing in Marunouchi. There are many spots where you can enjoy the beauty of architecture, such as the Marunouchi station building of Tokyo Station, which is a national important cultural property, the complex facility "KITTE" whose interior was designed by Kengo Kuma, and the "Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum", a restored 19th-century building.
After checking out, we stopped by the Imperial Palace and Masakadozuka, where we ran, had lunch at The Tokyo Station Hotel, and did some shopping at KITTE.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes from the Yaesu North Exit of Tokyo Station and Nihonbashi Station. I got off at Nihonbashi Station and started shopping at antenna shops in Shiga, Nagasaki, and Mie.
